Hit Stances 101 1. Never use Instant Blow unless you intend to combo into The Canon 2. use light stance in Neutral if you have half a bar, so if they press a button you can kick them in the nuts. This works on everything except Beam Supers, Melee Counters and Counter Supers (except Videl's, Hit's I-Frames last longer than Great Saiyaman's Active Frames) 3. learn meaty 236LL. 4. medium and heavy stance is intangible to everything except grabs, Medium has 17 frames of start up to intangibility, Heavy is just 4 frames

From a kinda high rank Frieza boi if your at a awkward distance in the air the best thing would be to jm since it has to hits and it jails if it connects and after that you can do big Destructo ball and the rest would Be up to you. If your on the ground heavy over head to back dash pizzas is also good for pressure. Hoped that helped doto!

Nice to see a frieza video. Also, try using the discs when the opponent is knocked down. Helps to mix. Also he's got the pillars(236 l, m, or h). Sometimes they don't see his 22s coming either.

Well as a lord frieza player I’d say you should be ending 2H combos with j2H instead of 236S so you get sliding. Also using 236L in the corner catches up tech and leaves you slightly plus. Also if you recall I used discs on oki...a lot haha, it’s his most plus set up. Oh and you should go for more 5H combos and end with j2H for sliding instead of jump canceling your 5M since frieza doesn’t have an air launcher :/ Hope that helps!
To Dota: For the love of Kami, Nearly all aerial combos can end with 2s-2h for sliding. (On sliding, throw the discs: You have options. 1. run up 2m goes under discs and is 2 hits if you don’t cancel out. 2. big safe jump to l/m/h goes over top of discs/ 3. run up dragon rush lands JUST before the discs return The pressure is never ending. Depending on your assists, you prolly use them just before disc inputs. After if they think they are clever with delayed wake ups. If you wanna keep range, you have exactly enough time after discs to ground slash (Ex’d if you like) and 2-2s to switch sides/close gap and bypass the disc return. You can pop them up like you do with krillin’s air blast, easy 2h after. Any blocked 2h can be followed up with a ground slash. Aerial Bnb vanish rush? Discs on knock down. Hit with your own discs? You have a delayed wake up lvl 3. For a man who loves reads, all these tools make this character one of the best. 2-2s+assist anytime for mix, or escape is unreal with the right assists. Lab these once, and it’ll change your life. Big combos look great. Constant resets because you rule neutral and the universe are the way. These are the keys to the kingdom. Sincerely, All Frieza mains. P.s. I anchor and save sparking for Frieza, because with these tools, he’s a monster. Screen and reset control all day. I routinely make 3-1 comebacks using this set up, and use Ginyu on his B assist (of all things) just to style on ‘em. And that’s all before I go gold. Which can be useful for the movement, but the damage boost+limit spark alone makes these mixes feel worthy of a galactic tyrant. Watch them melt. Personally, I rather use the meter to lvl3. Raw Frieza lvl3 hits different. Check the damage. And if you want a challenge? try catching a one hit krillin with ONLY last hit of a light auto combo.. that’s the funniest thing ever. It’s so hard, and obvious that you know they know. But soooo satisfying when you pull it off. Doin’ ya boy dirty, I know, but what do you expect from Frieza? Also, people sleep on the Frieza A assist. It’s range is admittedly wonky, but with practice, they never see it coming. You can finish most aerial dragon rushes that have some height with it, (timing is key) and pop them right back up. Super dash, air combo, sliding. And it’s a great opener assist on a match. Usually breaks their assist, and EATS UI gokus. If they try to start with a counter, easy 2h. Ragequit city if they can’t help themselves. Frieza eats UI Goku in general.. sliding, throw discs, block. They WILL UI tech. When it doesn’t work, they WILL vanish. They get hit with the disc, 2h-combo to sliding, repeat. They will learn to respect it. Then it’s your game. Jiren wants to zone counter? Bait with finger beam, lvl3. Easier route for wall bounce combos is m-2s-super dash, air combo-sliding. In corner, on ground, if you catch them with a heavy, disc immediately, 2m (it’s a double low if you don’t cancel out. Disc rebound hits, 2m cancel out. There are loops here, and this is where you can get really fancy, and also where I keep my secrets lmao.
Not trying to be a jerk, love your vids, style, commentary, channel.. but the aerial 2s-2h sliding alone will change your whole emperor game and perception. Promise. It’s the answer to your question at 16:59. Falling 2h on the assist confirm. That’s a hard knock down right there. Discs.
