Nice job - As a suggestion - you could maybe try riding with both wheels on the ground now and again - just whilst you bed that new tyre in eh? ;0) Thanks again for sharing!
Good job! I installed a Dunlop Q3+ for my CBR last year with my Max2H but this year wasn't so lucky. The Dunlop RoadSmart4 tire gave me too much grief to instal the final 30% of the 2nd side. I had to take it to the shop to get it installed. And, they installed it on the wrong rotational direction! What a summer!
None of that sounds like fun, it’s never good when it doesn’t go to plan!! I found it difficult to mount the last part of the tyre until I started putting plenty of soap on the inner edge of the tyre (the part that actually seats on the wheel) and on the plastic piece of the Max2H, also make sure the opposite inner edge of the tyre is pushed into the middle of the wheel (the smallest diameter), this gives more free play on the edge you’re trying to get on. Next time I do a tyre I’ll video it with more detail and send you the link 👍
banditnev , the choice was time sensitive. I needed a tyre and I could get the PR4 quicker than the PR5. The difference compared to the square tyre i took off is phenomenal!!
banditnev , I’ve got the PR5’s on my Hayabusa and they are excellent. So far the PR4’s are earning their price successfully, just hoping to get some decent mileage from them all. . . time will tell!?
new wheel = new weights before mounting to the balancing machine, take all the old weights off, and give the rim a good cleaning ... will save you a bit of time.
ms8shot , I think I’ve learnt that the hard way, this time around. . . hopefully I’ll remember for the next time and prove that you can teach old dogs new tricks?!?
Dell Davis , Hi, it’s a max2h evo2, i chose this one because it folds away for easier storage. th-cam.com/video/9rba3VZml2M/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps.

Mike Openshaw , what a strange concept . . . possibly worth a try. . . thanks for the thought 👍

@@bikerantics5001 I was very happy with the PR 4's and wanted to try the P 5's to see how they go and so far so good.
