M.A.R.S. was even better than I hoped. I don't care if it is "a little overpowered". I rather it be too strong and live up to the hype than be subpar. And let's be real. People would complain either way. Being too strong is an odd argument, but I digress. Can't satisfy NGS players. Also, nice M.A.R.S. design by the way. I prefer Nighoggr and Scyla myself. Lastly, this is why we got the surprise maintenance. They were watching you as a potential candidate and you went and spilled the beans on the M.A.R.S. neat and completely fair exploit. Thanks, Estelle. 😏
For (Mars) Rifle + Wand + Defense Sub... For 25%, spam Rifle Ult or stick with Rifle. For 50% to 100%, go ham with Wand. Rifle can also build up Wand's Ult. Defense Sub for Team Support. Rifle for Team Support and a linear sweep ult. Wand for high mobility and a pillar ult, which can hit flying/highward targets. The Sword + Chainsaw is excellent in synergy. While Mobility Sub is godly to weave around. PP Gain Sub is... "Meh"... I don't see much difference beyond a slightly better PP Gain from nornal attacks. There isn't a reason to use it since every PA consumes 50% to 75% or 100% of PP. As for common Mars Skills. Go for max Potency, Crit Rate, then Crit Potency, first. PP Regen and Max PP 2nd. Max HP last.
I *think* MARS does not factor in specific sources of Damage Reduction. Probably Hunter’s innate DR given via skill points. Granted this factor is rather moot when you spec in HP bonuses while in MARS so whatever. Lol
true. the good news is that you dont really need to use M.A.R.S if you have Bis as its damage output starts falling off when you've got around 270-280 pot. It mostly just gets used for hydra at that point. It serves as tool to bridge those on the lower end of damage as far as potency goes. I think this is the best of both worlds as it wont interfere with solo content/speedrunning as much but allow casual players to get more damage when they only have around 200% pot.
I'm glad someone is helping noobs like me with videos like that u_u

Wanna know what's the Current meta for M.A.R.S.? It's basically Hydra Terminator, use it on Break phase and you'll in love with your damage~
very cool
