China and Taiwan relations are more complicated than Russia and Ukraine due to the history of politics. It will be interesting to see what happens if they choose to invade. But China as also said they don't need to invade a land that is already theirs.

Russian Goods exim is surplus and service exim is deficit. Also overall 28.54% export and 20.91% import of GDP. So considering long term there will be more loss to countries imposing sanctions. Electronics items are costly now but will be replaced by Chinese super brands soon. Once war ends, Russia will become more powerful as their exports will be increasing exponentially. Goods / raw material will be channelised through other friendly countries but Western countries can't provide services through indirect channels. So finally Russia can be a winner in long term if played strategically.
