PRAISE THE LORD, I CAME OUT OF SATANIC WORSHIP & A RELIGION WHICH GOES HAND IN GLOVE THERE-WITH AND HAD A DEEP UNREASONABLE ANTIPATHY AGAINST CHRISTIANITY AND I SINNED HORRIBLY AGAINST GOD , HIS SON AND HIS CHURCH AND AGAINST ISRAEL. Heavenly Father's Sabbaths fall on the: 8th, 15th., 22nd and 29th day of each month. Passover falls on the 15th day of the first month of the new year. The Walls of Jericho story bears this out. Like, how did Israel work 7 days at Jericho and still observe the 4th Commandment? Like I said, Satan is your LORD scooping up soles from it's slaves! Either you have a Heavenly Father or your master is Satan. You want to try one more time?

When I first saw this video on TH-cam I thought it would probably be boring, but when I heard him talk about “The Case for Christ” it made me want to watch because I had seen the movie and I loved it. Anyway, I’m so glad that I did because his explanation of the resurrection was superb, and so was his testimony. I love his testimony. It’s incredible the way Jesus works in our lives. The entire video was exactly what I needed. There have been plenty of times in my wife when I didn’t know what was good for me. Thank God, I don’t have to worry about that anymore since Jesus Christ took control of my life. My life was also a mess, even worst than yours. Maybe God would allow me to one day freely share the amazing story of what he has done for me. It hasn’t been easy. I’m still a work in progress and a baby in Christ. I do know a lot about the word of God but I do have to learn to trust more in Jesus and less in my own understanding. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and your testimony. I really enjoyed everything you said. I would probably watch it several times more. May our Lord and Savior bless each of you who are reading this. May He touch the hearts of those who are non believers or still think that he is not real or that he doesn’t exist. May he set you free.

How on earth did he decide god couldn’t exist? And then he said he was a drunken slob.

God performed miracles in front of many witnesses and they still didn't believe. What kind of evidence would convince you? There's ample evidence but, unfortunately in some people, there's denial of the evidence. That's a problem of the heart because they are unwilling to follow Christ, which means they have to give up their porn, their drunkenness, their sexual immorality and their materialism.

@@rickdavis2235 "God performed miracles in front of many witnesses and they still didn't believe."
      Prove it.
"What kind of evidence would convince you?"
The kind you can show other people. Philosophical arguments are not evidence, 'a book says so' is not evidence, and 'ancient records say so' is not sufficient evidence (I can get a thousand people who will all claim to be eyewitnesses to alien abductions - doesn't mean alien abductions are happening).
"here's ample evidence but, unfortunately in some people, there's denial of the evidence."
Or, maybe people can see that your 'evidence' is not evidence, and that you have no clue what the word 'evidence' means.
"hat's a problem of the heart because they are unwilling to follow Christ"
Whether or not I would follow your god is irrelevant to whether or not I would believe he exists. Now, what evidence shows your god exists, that he created the universe, and that he is the greatest of all gods?
My heart's desires don't determine what I believe. My brain does that. If you continue to attempt to emotionally manipulate me with talk about "porn, their drunkenness, their sexual immorality and their materialism," and to insult me an others by suggesting we don't believe you because we want to be immoral, the conversation is over, because you are not mature to enough to have it with me.

Prove that He didn't perform miracles. Maybe by my asking you that same question you can see how silly it is. When has anything ever been proven that's happened in the past? When you go down this road, you open up a can of worms because you can't prove that man evolved from apes or that the universe created itserlf or that life evolved from NOT ANYTHING.
There are many things that we accept as true that cannot be scientifically verified. Science works through inductive methods-we do an experiment 100 times and if we get the same result every time, we conclude that it’s scientifically proven and that we will continue to get results. However, for many subjects, we cannot use this same method to reach a conclusion.
If we stumble across a crime scene, and find a person dead, we can’t say, “Well, I don’t know. Let’s run the experiment again and see what happened.” Such a method would be absurd in figuring out who the murderer is. Instead, we have to deduce conclusions from the evidence left at the scene. We have to evaluate what has been left behind and reach a logical inference. In other words, we have to apply the methodology that is appropriate to the claim.
When we look at subjects like history, forensics or philosophy, we can’t run experiments or take scientific measurements to determine a conclusion. Instead, we have to evaluate evidence and deduce an inference, which is why the question, “Does God Exist” is not a scientific one. We can’t run any experiment to determine if God exists anymore than we can run an experiment to determine who committed a murder or where did the first humans originate or if two people are in love.
To find answers that are outside the natural world, we can only study the evidence left inside the natural world and reach the most rational inference as to why certain things are the way they are. This is what the aim of natural theology is. It’s not attempting to prove a designer exists like one proves a scientific fact through measurement or observation, rather these philosophical arguments take the evidence we can evaluate and reach the most rational inference to explain things where science can’t go because a logical mind seeks the most rational inference to the evidence. An entire worldview containing only science without philosophy will only give you half the picture.
Science is great for explaining things within nature and within space-time and we should keep studying science to form a better view about the natural world. Only an irrational person would suggest otherwise.

    Jesus Was Born Incarnate
Jesus was born incarnate to a young Jewish virgin, lived a sin free life, was illegally persecuted and then crucified on a cross on Calvary. He arose three days later defeating death and ascended into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God.
Jesus met with 515 people after His resurrection in a dozen different occasions over a period of about 40 days before He ascended into Heaven.
Jesus knew He was entering the world to be the final and ultimate sacrifice for the sin of mankind. His body had been divinely prepared by God specifically for that purpose. Jesus was going to die for the sins of the world, and He knew it. Moreover, He was doing it willingly and joyfully.
Jesus came to earth to reveal God to mankind and teach truth. He came to fulfill the Law and offer His kingdom to mankind. He came to show us how to live. He came to reveal God’s love. He came to bring peace. He came to heal the sick. He came to minister to the needy.
He was raised in a family who didn't believe in His divinity. He had six half-brothers and two or three half-sisters who didn't believe in His divinity until after His resurrection.
What gets me is demons knew His divinity but many men and women of His time didn't.
I presume Mary and Joseph knew His divinity. But in Luke 2:49-50 [NKJV] “He said to them, [His earthly parents] “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
This makes me wonder, did they not understand Jesus' divinity?
"But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33 NKJV)
Luke 3:23 states that Jesus was "about 30 years of age" at the start of his ministry.
Jesus preformed 14-15 miracles (they were called signs) in the three years or so of His ministry on earth. Many miracles were preformed by Jesus Christ but not specifically identified and recorded in God's word.
Jesus' miracles were followed by Jesus forgiving the individuals of their sins and commanding they sin no more. Many of Jesus' miracles were not identified. No other religious leader forgave mankind of their sins.
Our sins separate us from God, and there’s nothing we can do to make things right. So, we need someone to save us from our sins and make us acceptable to God. That someone is Jesus Christ. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for among men there is given no other Name under heaven, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 GNV)
That’s why God sent Jesus to earth. Jesus’ death on the cross paid for every wrong we’ve ever committed or will commit in the future. Jesus made it possible for us to have a relationship with God the Father. We are sinner from birth and need help, Jesus Christ is that help, our only hope.
Therefore by the deeds of the law (Ten Commandments) no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law our sins are recognized not saved.
We must confess (repent) of our sins and iniquities before Jesus Christ, at the foot of the cross daily.
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, to His disciples that: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”
I will not stand before The Great White Throne of God, my sins have been cleansed by Jesus Christ's crucifixion on the cross. And I am clothed in the righteousness of Christ of all my sins and iniquities before-today, today and forever.
I Love Jesus Christ and despite of the fact that I'm human and I fail Him daily, I pick up my cross daily and follow Him. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was crucified on the cross where He died for my sins and inequities and that He rose again on the 3rd day to give me a way through salvation and sanctification, known and unknown. He loves me dearly and has forgiven me of my sins and inequities. His Word says that if I deny Him before men, He will deny me before His Father.
Following, I believe are the greatest verses in God's Word. "But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33 NKJV)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NKJV)
I am a Christ-follower and live in the Kingdom of God on earth in Jesus Christ, my Lord, Savior and Leader. I have faith and trust in the grace and mercy of God for eternal life for my soul in Heaven when I pass from this life into paradise.
I proclaim this openly to the world, that I am sinner, that I am sorry for my sins and iniquities and repent of my sins and iniquities and receive Jesus Christ by faith into my heart, mind and soul as my Lord, Savior and Leader. I openly confess Him as Lord from this moment on, I want to follow Him, I pledge to obey Him daily, and read His word. I will include those in my prayers who are lost and have chosen to deny God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ declared: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV)
I am in the “Lamb's Book of Life” and will not face “The Great White Throne of God” which leads to Hell.
Jesus said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29 KJV)
The grace and glory be to God. God bless

Also one last thing because I truly am exhausted spoon feeding this stuff to someone who isn’t approaching any of this with a humble heart and mind- this video teaches that there is evidence, he references the evidence and it is your job to research the evidence he claims is evidence as he is speaking- like the creed, like the testimonies of the apostles, like the church fathers, the Saints. Saying that it’s simply not evidence because you haven’t researched it yourself; and all the resources that corroborate the testimonies of the disciples to prove it otherwise doesn’t work if you actually want to be educated on the matter.
This video is meant to share the evidence from Lee Strobel’s experience as he went from Atheist to Christian. He cites his sources, go find them.

    • @HegelsOwl
      @HegelsOwl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Ma'am, I agree that the evidence can't be dismissed as "no actual evidence." But, when we look at what question the evidence is purportedly explaining, we find no question of inherent interest--no actual question is being explained at all.
You see, Science doesn't have the resources to formulate hypothesis' for every imaginable question. It must discriminate. There is also the issue of bias in proposed questions, of people wishing to serve an agenda; say, of an religious-sectarian sort; or political, or economic sort. Science must have a valid method for minimizing bias, as well as optimizing its use of limited resources.
The criteria Science uses for this is by looking for questions possessed of intrinsic value. These are questions generated by facts (or, perhaps, just one fact) which are "inherently interesting," meaning that current models are unable to explain them; i.e., anomalies.
      ...You see.
But, no mere claim about an anomaly is valid. The claim must not only be validated with the actual fact(s), but must have a consensus of interest in the anomaly.
The facts which Team Resurrection puts forth (the death of a person, an alleged empty tomb, religious belief in a risen god, etc.) generate no anomaly of interest to Science which current models cannot explain.
So, again, "the resurrection hypothesis" doesn't explain any sort of valid question at all--one of inherent interest to any science. Therefore, neither is a valid question present of interest for human action. The "resurrection hypothesis" can thus be dismissed out-of-hand.

    • @HegelsOwl
      @HegelsOwl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

If you think "the resurrection hypothesis" is at least an honest argument, ma'am, you should consider this:
      "New Resurrection Proof"
      Prolegemenon
TIQ (The Investigative Question): The anomaly of Paul selling "Christ's free gift."
      Methodology: Methodological phenomenology.
      Social Model: Conflict Particularism.
Following only Paul's money, we find "messianic coins," which are "minted" only by "Zionlions" (Jewish saviors). Zionlions are "Mechanics" (human means), fulfilling "the law," that, "The older must serve the younger" (Gen., 25.23).
This is Arrow-1. We shall annex this oracle's terms, that Jews are "Jacob," and non-Jews "Esau:" Here are three matching phenomenological facts we'll discover, following only Paul's money:
1). In the OT, History's first-recorded genocide occurs. It was the work of Zionlion Joshua, "minting" the two-sided "messianic coin" of dispatching Esau, Jacob with Esau's resources.
2). The NT's "spiritual warfare" Mechanic minted messianic coins during the early years of developing a centuries-long suicide cult for Romans.
3). Jacob used evangelism to dupe Romans to buy an army for their own destruction (Josephus, "Wars," 6.6.2). This Mechanic minted messianic coins, thus it too was a Zionlion.
      Hypothesis:
Joshua is the paradigm messiah: he kills the enemy, and gives Jacob the money. Find Arrow-1 "coin-minting," and you'll find a Joshua. Jews I've known notice that Paul's money went only from Romans to Jerusalem, and Romans bought a suicide cult. This suicide cult is the only anomaly concerning NT claims which might be of interest to Science. It can be explained with the following argument, that Jesus was Joshua, a "risen messiah:"
      * * *
Part 1: Predictive Power of Conflict Particularism Validating the Hypothesis.
      §1: "Golden-Coin Lightening."
Human Action is the pyramid of all knowledge and endeavor, the mischief of Socrates' oracular arrow at it's apex, "What is the good life, and how does one attain it?"
Ontologically, ethics/ideals are Spirit-- "oracular arrows" for Human Action (Dasein). Dasein translates these Arrows into existential form, generating the ethical environment of Dasein's life. Dasein, then, is the universal mechanic of translation.
Ethics/ideals, but especially language, find Dasein particularized with a nationality, such as the Jews of Jesus' day. Here, "the law" was Montesquieu's "Spirit" and the Jews its Mechanics.
In hostile environments of opposing Mechanics, the dominant ethic becomes "Ends justify means," Arrow-P, and morphs Dasein into a warrior, a PM (Polarity Mechanic). An environment of opposing PM's is Conflict Particularism (CP).
PM's polarize CP environments, by enlisting the means of other normative inversions (NI's) to achieve their ends; e.g., duplicity, rape, murder. Social norms become marginalized, sometimes to "total social break-down," when the vanquished NI's become the victors in total war. This environment is CPS (Conflict-Particularism Syndrome).
A single instance of an NI (normative inversion) between Mechanics announces the presence of a foreigner, a mentally handicapped person, or PM. NI's are always warnings that something isn't right, like seeing a saddle on a cow.
PM NI-dense environments are the oracle "Arrow-Mars," the oracle of blood-shed. Such environments are CPA (Conflict Particularism Arrow-Mars), "a world turned upside down."
In threatened Israel, Dasein becomes a PM (a Zionlion) with Arrow-1, minting the two-sided "coin" of dispatching Esau, Jacob with his resources. The "spirit of a christ" is Arrow-P, producing wealth/power for Israel in messianic coins. One of Dasein's many other names is "Rome." That's why they look like twins here.
Thus, the ethic of Conflict Particularism, Arrow-P ("Ends justify means"), is Mars' holy spirit of "Golden-Coin Lightening."
Many Jews say Israel is The Zionlion. Sure: "The Lion of Israel" was to become World-King, minting mountains of messianic coins on the ferocious road of conquest.
      §2. "A Saddled Cow."
Before the Jewish War of 66 CE, Jacob had been Rome's most loyal ally. Then, Jesus' and Paul's Israel was raped with injustices by Rome; like "911," repeatedly. Thousands of Zionlions emerged; and these risen messiahs, whom Josephus variously calls "robbers" and "sicarri," spear-headed the war against Rome.
There's suddenly a handful of books right after Pearl Harbor, all seemingly historical in nature, and no others. Yet, there's no mention of Pearl Harbor. This is the NT, a normative inversion, proclaiming that NI's are truth; most of all, that truth is a threat and bribe, "Judgement Day." The NT's Arrow-Mars phalanx of "spiritual warfare" NI's was spear-headed with the trident of "Christ abolished the law," a Zionlion "Lamb," and death means life. A member of the Jewish High Council, and on such matters as warfare, led the charge, demanding Roman money (Rom., 15.27) for "the free gift of Christ" (5.25).
Again, just one NI announces that something isn't right, like seeing a saddle on a cow.
NI''s are types of lies, lest justified with intrinsic value, not found in the NT. Two thousand years of Schweitzer's noted biblical scholarism "honesty" finds only Crossan-type scholars noticing this embarrassment. Their "passive-resistance justice" model, to justify the NI's against Roman dupes, "forgot" the model in Fact #3 against Roman dupes. Team Resurrection specializes in "forgetting" Fact #3.
The intellectual sophistication of the first Gospel, fawning rustic simplicity, is remarkable. Its paper-trail, before and after, vanished--the hallmark miracle of NT authors. So, "Mark" accidentally wears a mask, and then accidentally another, saying one thing, meaning something else--ruse parables. The NT authors are accidentally masked PM's, accidentally killing Romans with the weapons one kills with--a phalanx of NIs and ruses. For, "the Lamb" became lions in a centuries-long "spiritual warfare" suicide cult for Romans--"a world turned upside down;" the world of Arrow-Mars.
The NT wants us to know "the truth," that 'messiah' means "David Tomorrow." But, in fact, Jesus means Joshua, the only OT figure who helped non-Jews--out of their money and into the grave. We follow Paul's money, sales of Christ's free gift, to try to answer "the mystery of Christ" with its "good news" of being born among thousands of enraged Joshua-type risen messiahs.
Find Arrow-1 "coin-minting," and you'll find a Joshua of rustic simplicity.
      §3. "Jacob's Parable."
Arrow-1, "The older must serve the younger" (Gen., 25.23), is an NI. Arrow-1/Israel were born through Jacob, an Arrow-P Lion, disguised lamb-like to steal his brother's inheritance. Saying one thing, meaning something else, "Jacob's Parable" is a ruse parable, called duplicity. Fact #3 announces a Sanhedrin-driven "Jacob's Parable" model in the NT's Zionlion environment--a Joshua Mechanic.
Not even the poorest Romans were helped in the NT, but even Roman-Christian widows were cheated (Acts, 6.1). Predictably, PM Jesus/Joshua (a Lamb/Lion sounds like Jacob) gave Romans the "free gift" of Arrow-1 (Rom., 9.12), sold by the Sanhedrin's PM Paul.
PM Jesus/Joshua's "free gift" included a second NI without intrinsic value, "Christ abolished the law," which was PM Paul's "miraculous conversion"--into Lions, devouring only Roman "lambs" (Gal., 6.12). "Soldier-of-Christ" Paul helped Romans only out of their money and into the grave--a Joshua Mechanic.
Jacob-the-lamb "deceived" the Jews with "parables." Jacob-the-lion converted Romans into messianic coins for the Jewish cause.
      §4. "God of Thunder."
"David Tomorrow," and his thunder-cloud treasures of brontologisms (Rev., 10.4; cf, Ps., 20.3f), full of sound and fury of Macbeth's bleak world, was only a "Jacob's Parable" ruse. The blind thought Jesus was "David Tomorrow" (Mat., 9.27). Joshua doesn't come tomorrow, nor from heaven, but helps the enemy out of their money and into the grave today. Joshua killed Romans (with a suicide cult), and the money went only from Romans to Jerusalem. Not even to say thanks after the famine (Acts 11.28) did the money reverse direction.
In short, the true brontologism was in the Golden-Coin Lightening of Mechanic Joshua, risen from the dead of serial "911" injustices by Rome, and Pauline Christianity was but one among thousands of risen Joshuas; for, 'risen messiah' can also mean "messianic uprising."
At first, Joshua wasn't recognized by Jesus' followers after he rose, and most Jews still don't see a Lion-Jacob beneath Arrow-1 wool. But, this is changing.
      * * *
      Part 2: Result of TIQ.
The Conflict Particularism model predicts and finds a Joshua Mechanic, to explain the anomaly of Christianity's centuries-long suicide cult, working from the hypothesis that where there's Arrow-1 "coin-minting," you'll find a Joshua. Anyone using the same TIQ (Investigative Question) and methodology should get the same result, that the trail of Paul's money reveals that Jesus/Joshua was a "risen messiah."
"Risen messiah" can mean 'David Tomorrow.' But, not today. For, no biblical claim of deity is validated with a fact, nor are there facts to infer a need for "salvation," nor facts validating "salvation." Any explanation about the advent of Christianity must be reconciled to this wall with Fact #3, "The Wall." I've not found a biblical scholar honest enough to mention "The Wall," after some forty years on this subject, on-and-off, as an existentialist philosopher.
"Follow the money," the old proverb yawns, "and all the questions will answer themselves."

Also Argumentation presented has an obvious cognitive mistake called appeal to authority: "This must be true, because some renowned professor in the field said it's true"

That's great, but what about the arguments themselves, how do you deal with those?
      1. Hallucinations don't happend to groups
      2. Jesus' adversaries/ skeptics had experienced the appearance of the ressurected Jesus
      3. The empty tomb
Lee's not merely appealing to authority to say it's true, he's explaining what he did to dig deeper about this issue of hallucinations, while being a skeptic himself at that time. And since Lee had heard the counter argument to Jesus's ressurected appearences, he went to a Christian but also an expert on hallucinations. So sure, there may be bias that Gary is a Christian but his points are yet to be refuted... so again, how do you deal with those?

  • @gutgod-of6xk
    @gutgod-of6xk ปีที่แล้ว +1

An extremely probable explanation for the empty tomb is that the Romans took the body. They alone had the ABILITY and powerful MOTIVATIONS to do the deed.
Motivation #1 - THE ROMANS WANTED THE PRO-ROMAN MESSAGES OF JESUS TO CONTINUE. In contrast to all the other rabbis, Jesus taught the wish list of the Romans: Stop hating them, start sacrificially loving them, and pay all their unjust, burdensome taxes. Stealing the body caused the depressed disciples to believe the lie that Jesus rose, which invigorated them to excitedly spread Jesus' pro-Roman messages.
Motivation #2 - THE ROMANS WANTED TO GET REVENGE ON THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS. During the trial of Jesus, the religious leaders humiliated Pilate by inciting a riot, forcing Pilate to crucify Jesus, whom he believed to be an innocent man. You can bet that revenge was big time on Pilate's mind. Stealing Jesus’ body was a great way for the Romans to stick it to the religious leaders, who would now have to deal with a "resurrected" false messiah.
Remember, a reasonable naturalistic explanation negates a supernatural one.

Hearts full of lead and inability and unwillingness to take any leap. I find athiests both cowardly and intelectualy numb yet thinking they know it all on the foundations of sand...if you truely a individual search for truth then you have my respect but athiests are but illogical in their entire aproach even their fundamentals. If you unsure then follow the facts that are relative and accurate, cross examine them to test that what they testify is true. Use your intelect and dont rely on just sceptism. Strobel never fact checked his own interviewees. And he was a legal journalist so knows better. Unfortunately as I have said in many episodes to my own subs, I was once a Christian who did objective research versus just taking apologists claims as truth. I am actually someone who wants to be proven wrong. But the real facts are there was not one written word of the great miracle during Yeshua's life. The real facts are the prophecies were taken out of context, mistranslated or flat out added if one would actually read the most original manuscript of Isaiah of the Dead Sea Scrolls. The real facts are the outside historical "proofs" like Josephus, Tacitus and Pliny The Younger only mention there was a Yeshua and his following who yes were being persecuted but no, they did not believe there was a resurrection. If one would actually research claims made by WLC, Strobel and the like, one would most likely be on their way to deconversion. As the evidence isn't there at all regardless of how much apologists try to manipulate to attempt to show it is. Cheers, DCF

Moreover, He was doing it willfully and joyfully.
The four Gospels record 37 miracles of Jesus, with Mark's Gospel recording the most. Three New Testament words refer to Jesus's miraclesas power, signs, and wonder. Every miracle of Jesus served a specific purpose in God's plan of salvation for humankind.
Jesus' miracles were followed by Jesus forgiving the individuals of their sins and commanding they sin no more. Many of Jesus' miracles were not identified. No other religious leader forgave mankind of their sins.
29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
    The Purpose of John’s Gospel
“Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, whichwere not recorded in the Bible.
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:29-31 KJV)
Take my yoke upon you, and lean on Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29 KJV)
The grace and glory be to God. God bless
