The Lions reminds me of the Giants a few years back when they were all injured
I waited so many yrs for Stephen A to say we're Superbowl contenders. .
Crazy Vikings has same records as lions when all everyone talked about was lions all year 😂
Lions have been building this team for 5 or so years. Sewall, Ragnow, Slay jr.( departed), Stanford for Goff and a number of top picks, Laporta (traded Hockenson for picks), Gibbs, etc. Vikings have made this team mainly from free agent signings! Which approach is best?
Need someone to pull up the receipts cause I KNOW these talking heads were clowning the vikings being contenders only a month a ago
how the game goes. they’re just reaction baiters at this point
With new info comes new opinions. Get over it
@@CharlieXFBAanyone with common sense and football knowledge knew Minnesota was better than 6 wins. Everyone foolishly hopped on the Chicago bandwagon because ON PAPER, they looked good. We just holding people’s feet to the fire
@kdubbss0583 Lol ok man... you do that 🤣
Yep, they are bandwagoners. In a few weeks when the Vikings win the Super Bowl, they both will be saying "I told everybody that the Vikings were no joke. THEY ARE MONSTERS."
Vikings would be dumb to not resign Darnold to at least 2-3 more yrs & let JJ study under him, he's proven he can win with his weapons so far 🔥
Sam Darnold won’t agree, he is a vet QB who went to the playoffs and there are too many QB starving teams, and he is a free agent, and they all know they have JJ Mcarthy there a top 10 pick, there will have to be a QB competition in training camp, or he can go somewhere else earn more money and be a bonafide starter, he is the best QB free agent available this off season and this QB draft class is mediocre at best, most aren’t starting calibre, but I can name 5-6 teams straight away that absolutely need QBs.
@@jessicaadaora9109No maaaam, those franchises you speak of are definitely drafting quarterbacks headlined by SHEDEUR SANDERS & CAM WARD. Think about it. Baker accomplished literally the same thing last season or did you forget that one already. So if they let Sammy go. Then they not tryna win. Bottom line😊
They can’t pay him when they have a young stud on standby. That makes no sense. Use that money to put more pieces around your young QB and the defense.
& the injury he coming off is crazy
Darnold would have to take a huge discount then.
Just shows a player needs a new team and environment to truly blossom 👏🏻
And he will probably revert back to average at best when he leaves this organization. Players always chase the bag, only to regret it in the end.
@@johnswanson3741 I hope Sam is smarter than that. I don't think he'd want to be in a NY Jets situation again.
Lions Vikings and Philly are the best in the nfc
Rams are a "sleeper" if they make the playoffs!
Steven A Smith giving MN props. WOW.
Jordan love has never had a season as good as Sam darnolds this year..
Dont start riding the Wagon now, they refused to say Vikings were top 3 until yesterday lol
Then you will complain they aren’t talking about the Vikings. They can never win with y’all
@deckardaaron you made that up I never complain about nobody not giving us clout, we havent deserved it until O connol came and atleast our fans understand that and you never heard of Wolves and Vikings fans do that esp not like no entitled GB or Cowboy fans lol.
@deckardaaron and I'm speaking facts, they weren't Acknowledging Vikings being top 3 since wk 10 on a 4game streak only 2 losses technically they were already #2 its been a whole month
Look what KOC did with Josh Dobbs. Look what he's done with Nick Mullens. Pretty remarkable. Makes me wonder what he could do with...Joe Milton. Is there a potential super QB hiding in New England?
Meanwhile, Lions coach Dan Campbell is going from next man up, to next man to answer a phone call. Who are these guys? No really, who are they??
Did they both take Love over Goff??
All they wanna look at is athleticism rather than actual results. Love has done nothing to prove he’s better than Goff
Love isn’t better than Goff, not at this point in time. I get he can make things happen off-schedule but Goff’s accuracy is incredible
Knew the Video Title was a lie, no chance will Stephen A EVER Respect the Vikings. If they are in NFC Championship Game, he'll predict Vikings lose 44-0.
Shannon clearly does not watch Sam Darnold play, and he has never seen JJ play before. Sam's arm talent superior, it is not even a contest!! Sam has top 6 arm talent, easily.
Sam Darnold - Went from a pretender to a contender. Good for him.
The Vikings aren’t a legit contender. Just watch come playoff time
7 straight and Sam is playing out of his mind but it’s all KOC lol. If he plays bad it’s the QB’s fault, but if he plays good it’s KOC??
Coaching absolutely has a lot to do with a QB's success.
Do you think Sam Darnold do well in Bears, Jets, or Raiders if he signed with them? I guarantee you that's a NO.
You can still get a 2nd and probably a 4th for JJ from the Giants, Raiders, Titans, or Browns who are going to be looking for their new guy
Vikings look strong, but PHILLY IS THE NFC BULLY CAN THEY GO BLOW 4 BLOW WITH THEM, ON THE BLACKTOP AFTER SCHOOL 🏈💯
Who would've thought Minnesota didn't need to pay $200 million to a QB to have a 11-2 season! WOW!!! All those Kirk Cousin boys sure are quiet now!
Coach Campbell is absolutely right
Sam can actually get away from pressure and extend plays, sometimes it comes back to bite us. Kirk was just a soft floppy noodle if the pocket broke down.
They might as well trade JJ then because what's the point then u have Daniel Jones 😅
Love to see Darnold do good
Sam Darnold is doing pretty well with the Vikings. GEno Smith is doing well with the Seahawks. As a Jets fan, I'm starting to notice a pattern.
Who knows, Sam Darnold next summer could be doing yard work, gardening, painting, putting the tool belt on 😎 pool guy half way around the world
He's probably better off walking and standing on his own rather than staying put, taking a discount and having to look over his shoulder. Gotta take the money, theres always going to be noise about JJ needing a shot.
Vikes are legit and sure that defense alone!
I watched the Vikings for the first time this whole season last night… I’m not worried
Who’s your team?
@ eagles
@@Supafreshh yall are very good but very beatable, case in point is your game against carolina, they really should have won. Vikings are very good but also beatable but if philadelphia comes through minnesota, the vikings will prevail.. May the best team win..just not kc..
@@Supafreshh Eagles lost to Falcons LOL! Vikings whipped them!
@@19eightyforeisnow I agree w that 💯😂
When is everyone gonna just come out and say all three of the nfc north teams are legit title contenders. Any one of those three teams can win it all. If you threw out all the division and conference stuff and just went down ranking all the teams, the nfc north would have three of the top six spots.
Taken way too long for ESPN to talk about the Vikings…they’ve been great all season!
if stephen a has come around YOU CAN TOO! DARNY SEASON BABY 😂
They pick love quick over Sam Darnold!😂
Vks D line has been pretty good against the run and they have the deepest edge rusher group in the NFL. The Eagles def have the better O line and DBs though. Viks prolly need to be at home and win turnover battle to beat them
I understand our defense is super beat up but don't sleep on us we are still explosive on offense we can turn any game into a shoot out
🙂glad the Vikings are getting love on first take 💜
I love the Sam I Am title.
This season is really up for grabs. Someone else has a chance to replace the Chiefs.
Its just absolutely insane that we are actually talking about darnold and the vikings as possibly getting the 1 seed, if anyone would've said this in the preseason you would've got sent to the nut house 😂 im here for it
As a day 1 and a real deal, 0:17 Minnesota Vikings fan!!! I can tell you this as long as we play our game and we don’t turn over the ball. We can literally beat anyone in the NFL!!! you have to remember that we went 13 and 42 years ago and if it wasn’t for all of the injuries that we had last year, we would’ve made it to the playoffs last year as well!!! The difference between us and two years ago, we did not have a good defense and we were predicated on passing all of the time this year we have more of a balance team and our defense is a legit top 5 defense!!! we can beat the Lions and we can beat the Eagles however, I am a realist we do not want to play Philly in Philly!!! Lolll if we can win out and get that number one seed and get home filled advantage ya better watch out kuz we are going to be scary!!! I don’t know, but they’re just seems like there’s something different with us this year!!! as long as we can take care of the ball and as long as we can stay healthy!!! I am definitely optimistic and I have faith in us!!! Just let them keep talking about the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions and will continue to win football games and possibly make a playoff run!!! Let’s go Vikes!!! #SKOL
Philly is not the best team. Always riding another team every year
The Vikings would be absolutely insane not to run it back with Darnold
Losing a few guys is NEVER what u needed
Don’t you love it when ESPN is finally handed a new script. Vikings fans as well as players know how this goes 1 loss and they abandoning ship again. Block out the noise, just ball.
Darnold could go walk on water and Stephen A. Smith would be hating on him:
"Walk on water? That's it? That's no big deal! That's been done before! What else you got, Darnold? Next!"
Daniel Jones is the indicator of what will happen. SD will sign somewhere and make the bag. McCarthy will start with Jones as a high quality backup. Vikes will build an elite roster with an accurate, athletic QB on rookie contract.
I understand the injuries but the lions never lost a blow out. The two games were close games. I still feel they are all good games.
I'd rather have to play in Detroit or Minnesota than Philly. Winter home field vs domes, especially with a top tier RB who is used to playing in said conditions.
Right now the NFC is probably sitting
1. Eagles
2. Lions (mainly due to injuries)
3. Vikings
4. Packers
It wasn't the Vikings who turned Sam's career around, it was the Rams. Who else did the Rams turn around? Baker. The Vikings knew Sam was better now than he was in the past, that is why they paid him 13 million to be the backup.
So much wrong here... He never played for the Rams... And his contract is 10 million.
@@prestonurvina You are right, but point still remains the same. He played under the same system and same coaching style and was signed for 10 million which is 2x as much as most backups make. There was some talk last year of him getting another chance at a starting job.
Keep doubting us. Love it!
Lol Jordan Love... please
I think the Vikings should go with McCarthy for next season but saying he’s got a better ARM than Darnold? That’s wild.
Sam Darnold Is Elite,And People Need To Get His Jets Career Out Their Heads Judging Him, He Is Doing Better Than Kirk Cousins Has Done, And Is Winning More Games Than Kirk Is Right Now, The Jets Are A Dumpster Fire That Cant Win With Any QB They Get.
Kirk literally did the same thing 2 years ago, and then lost to the giants in the playoffs, so let’s get to the playoffs first to judge that
Vikings have also had a very easy schedule
Let’s see what he do these last 3 games Seahawks, packers and lions and the playoff game before we crown him elite lol
@@jessicaadaora9109and the beauty of it is that no one is talking about the Vikings but Justin Jefferson is HIM shout to the GOAT RANDY MOSS🐐🔥
@@Jeremy-ny3wt100% agree, and Kevin O’Connell and Brian Flores are 2 of the best coaches in football, they have the bones of an excellent team no matter the QB, like the Steelers, 49ers.
Which one do you believe in more? Dumb question Molly...how about which team do you have more confidence in winning...Answer: Vikings
Why do they need an ignorant female on every show?
Didn't they say the same thing about Nick Foles against Minnesota?
Darnold will be,next year, wearing the Raiders uniform
I like the Vegas set
someone needs to let Shannon know that the Vikings don't have to overtake the Eagles right now, the Eagles need to overtake them
Sound stupid but I don’t like how dark the backstage is ….. I wish they had the water or the city 🏙️ infrastructure buildings behind them .
Wild he go play for cowboys giants
Keep underestimating us... I'm good with that, hopefully our opponents do the same to their detriment.
The Lions are cooked. There’s no way they recover from these injuries. The fact they didn’t get blown out by The Bills is amazing. Campbell is coach of the year.
Bills backed off and let it be a game, mostly garbage time success. The Lions cannot compete with a top offense with their banged up defense, period! Sad ending to such a promising season for the Lions!! I "almost" feel sorry for Detroit!
Agree Sam doin very well
Let JJ McCarthy get practice reps with the first team and sit behind Darnold until he either gets seriously injured or struggles
No, Shannon, Minny plays well on the road. One lost at home and one on the road. They only lost to Detroit and the Rams both good teams. Darnold has made some pretty good comebacks to win games when needed.
Sam Darnold is their only problem. When he is under pressure he sometimes pannicks, makes mistakes, throwing the ball up for grabs. Like the interception he threw in this game.
Here in Minnesota, we care about playoffs. We aren't gonna take a QB if they get bounced first round
Stay hard for Darnold my friends
KOC and Darnold are a match made in heaven. The only thing I'm worried about is our O-line. They're mediocre at best. Hopefully they find a way to improve and QUICK. Skol!
Sam Darnold under pressure is streaky. Prone to make mistakes. Vikes are good. If they can continue to protect him they are legit.
Disappointed that the Bears fan didn't curl into the fetal position and then cut to the Vikings fan saying "Hey that's a good Caleb impression"
