      Hi Maneetpaul!. Just a short question: I don't have the option to "export notes" on my kindle paperwhite 11. Do you know why I don't have the option?

    • @Maneetpaul
      @Maneetpaul  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElEdenaRuh That's really strange. Are you able to access your notes at read.amazon.com/notebook ?

    • @ElEdenaRuh

      @@Maneetpaul No. Must be because my e-books are no original versions. What do you think?

    • @ElEdenaRuh

      And I can't use the "xray" option either...

      @@ElEdenaRuh That is why. The book has to be purchased from Amazon for these features to work.

    I could practically weep with gratitude at having found this video. I've had my Kindle Paperwhite for a few years now, but never really got to grips with how to use it. Even some of the things in this video were hard for me - I didn't fully grasp how to get into a new book or stop reading one and move to another one if I wanted to read more than one book at the same time... Thank you so much for this comprehensive and really valuable video. I've subscribed to your channel, and liked this as well as saved it. Thanks again!

    I have a paperwhite and I use the disable touch screen all the time. Swiping is still active. This is really helpful if you are using your Kindle around water or children. Both of these things happen to me all the time. It's a critical feature and when it's not well understood since you can still use the touch screen to swipe pages forward and backwards.

    Another cute font option is the ability to add your own fonts to the Kindle. If you use the USB cable to connect to your computer, you can navigate to a fonts drawer in the root directory and there's a readme file in there with further instructions. Basically, you copy over a compatible font into the directory and it'll pop up as another Font Family option in the Aa settings.
    In my case, I like the EB Garamond font and it looks pretty sharp on the screen.

    Another great video - if you ever come across the question of Bluetooth not showing up, I just spent some quality time with Tech Support - here in Canada, Audible will not play on Kindle. So if you have your device registered to the Canadian Amazon Store - you won't get Audible as an option.
    This was a fun discovery for me :)
    All my eBooks are on the Canadian Store, All my Audible books are on the US store - so my Kindle is eBooks only (which is okay, because I'm like you and prefer to listen on my phone and read on my Kindle).
    I just thought you'd like to know as you may get a question on this from some confused Canadian trying to listen to Audible books on their Kindle.

    Thank you, that is a lot of useful information. My only addition would be that staying in Airplane mode helps to minimize the amount of microwave radiation in your environment (WiFi is in the microwave band). since the kindle is within arms length of your face/brain, extraneous WiFi is good to avoid. You can certainly do a sync whenever necessary by turning airplane mode off for a moment and pressing sync.
