Have you thought about doing a similar video aimed at the lower leagues who have very limited funds so most of the “meta” wonder kids are not an option. I love starting with a tier 2 team and finding those unexpected gems? Just a thought 🙂
As for this video very comprehensive and informative but no Elliot? I’ve had him for 3 seasons and he developed very well in an 80 rated key player for my Luton ML.

Same here i like playing in the small market leagues or smaller then the major leagues. But i found a great player whom is also real but doesnt have a real face tho. His name is "J. Bellingham" cmf 17yrs old has really decent stats. His stamina is real legitmate as well which is a top 3 main factor Stat for me.

CF are usually way more expensive
So if you have 10 ~ 20m budget,

Very low rated under 21 players for Master League, with real faces. Evolve really fast and they are really good if you are starting a ML with a low rated team.

I used to like the option you had in the old Pro Evo's around player potential. You could edit a players potenial to "early peak", "Standard peak" or "Late peak"... more realistic I thought. In Pes most players stats go down after 30

How does potential actually work in pes, I play them everygame but they stop growing at like 26 and stop at 84 smh

Xavi Simons is superb for me, and he's only 16. Also Moukoko from Borussia Dortmund, he's absolutely astounding. Brilliant striker, and he's only 15! Great video Spoony!

Maybe it's my play style but I bang them in with Haaland. I play quite directly and aggressively in general. Through balls, crosses, balls over the top... taking shots early... I love him. He's very instinctive. I signed him half way through the season and he ended up top scorer in Serie A!
Do you play on Legend or superstar?
@@SpoonyPizzas I figured that might be the difference. Superstar. Legend is fun until it feels like the AI just decides to score and you can't stop it.
You are so right about Haaland it's like playing with a clumsy player he can't seem to move without falling over or jus losing the ball and hes so damn expensive

Some of the stats of some players are ridiculous like haaland must have atleast 75-78 balance and ball control of atleast 78 one way of replicating realism is taking the time to edit stats for all players including the gk as they fly around and stay in air like reducing the gks diving and coverage and complementing in reflexes and positioning
This is such a great should and i wish there was an option file that did this.
I remember years ago there was one that lowered everyones injury stat to make it more realistic

I'm at season 2026-2027 and have Brazilian striker called Lobato. He's 22 years old and 89 rated.
He's a very good player.u can get him for free in first season winter transfer...he is always my best player trough my first couple of seasons....from pes2013 i think🤔🤔

Always loved using Vini in RM, I always choose him as first choice rather than Hazard! His speed and dribbling skill is extra ordinary, always win on one vs one sprint!
I signed Haaland in my Man Utd ML. At the moment I'm regretting it massively! Martial is keeping him benched. Hopefully I can get his technical stats and balance up fairly quickly.

same. Signed him really late in ML, in my 6th season or so... 32 year old Martial still putting him to shame. He scored some acrobatic goals but he's really inconsistent.

I do my own Master League with my own restrictions I set myself to not make it too easy. So, quite a lot of these guys fall out of my rules (ovr limit big issue) but some will definitely help out. 👍

Is there anyway you can make your player grow faster, plus if you train your player manually to all speed will that shoot up faster or is it better to train your player to a specific system like creative playmaker etc
Specific player role generally tbh. Especially if I want the actual playstyle. E.g. change a defensive fullback to attacking fullback.

Almendra(CMF), b.brobbey(CF) is quite deceiving for only 69 rating, Unuvar(Lwf), E.audero(GK) these are young but quite effective players i found in master league.

Spoony please make a video on how to execute dipping or knuckle shot in open play. It always happens occasionally and it would nice to know how to pull it off whenever you feel like

I took arsenal as a manager for 2 years.I developed Saka martinely and odegard in 85 84 and 88 acordingly .And ESR to 82 as well..They fired me ..
Greenwood was my second signing on my Werder Bremen Masterleague and already first season he is supergreat. And when i improve my offense more he will always be able to come from the bench with his „Joker“ ability 👍

Awesome video! What do you think of Pellegri at Monaco? Maybe same balance issues as Haaland but I’ve been signing him for the last 3 games and he always seems to score a ton for me! Great post player
Pellegri wasn't good for me last year - not tried this year...but balance is so important on higher difficulties

Yeah that call on Haaland I cant get behind. The guy was a goal machine in PES 2020 and seems to be the same this year for me. I have noticed he does struggle to keep the ball but that's not an issue for me since my style of play is to keep passing the ball with tiki taka
Try using him on Legend when you have zero space. The second he takes a touch, it's too lengthy. I should've captured all his terrible touches and ability to move with the ball or lay it off under pressure. 2020 he was awesome for me....but shielding received a nerf in 2021.

How do you develop young players rapidly? I have played Gabriel for a whole season and a half constantly and he's still 79
@@8yogibear change the training into what? I can't change their original position into a different position. eg change a winger into a defender should be a reason for the players to grow in stats

Just got promoted to the premiership with Rotherham and I'm having a nightmare trying to sign quality players for my squad. Negotiations keep breaking down no matter how much money I offer and I've only got the transfer difficulty set to normal.
You deffo should have a look at other young prospect beyond those basic ones. A lot of talent to be found for example in Portugal

You value Balance but didn't mention Liverpool's Harvey Elliot? Balance 98 on max level and in general pretty decent teenager RWF.

As far as I know, you can take players above their expected grow with lots of playtime
First signing in master league for me every time is Luis Sinisterra (LWF) from Feyenoord. Age is now 21, he starts at 77 and rises to mid 80's. He costs less than 10m and is willing to join teams down in the championship.

Use focused training mate. I would change him to either fox in box or target man as his low ball control, tight possession, dribbling are too low for playing on last defender (goal poacher).

hello i really want to thank you for ur videos they r so gr8 .
i want to ask you something what training i should use on my young players who play AFM and i want them to cover the SS position i use 2 AFM so i want them to be more closer to the box i use 4-1-2-3 (LB-2CB- RB/DMF/2AMF/2SS-1CF) most of the AMF dont cover that position .so is it possible with one specific training they become able to acquire that ? and thank you
Hi mate, yes check the player roles and see which sounds best for you. Then train them accordingly e.g. hole player, classic no. 10 etc

Spoony have you noticed a lot of players are a year older then their actual age. Not a big deal but makes a slight difference in ML

OVR doesn't matter mate. It's having the right stats for the position they play (or that you could get them to play).

Came close to recommending Kulusuvski but think his balance stat wasn't all that great for a winger (for me). Easily trainable though!

Have you played with Sancho this year? Last year he didn't seem to feel as good on the field as his stats would imply. Wondering if you've tried him out and what you thought.

I am a bit confused about balance and physical contact stat.
From defence point of view the physical contact is important to be able to push, win the ball but from offense point of view balance is good to keep the ball against high physical contact and agressive players.
BUT what about high physical contact and relatively low balance players? E.g. I signed young Ibrahimovic and when he can get the ball he looks like pushing defenders away and that is how he shields... :) But yes he can not turn and zig-zag and if he starts dribbling he can lose the ball fast but it looks like no problem as he is slow too and I can not do it with him either. So it is a bit confusing. Probably for a more static brute force player this is a good stat but not for a fast player.
I will probably sign a faster high balance player (I already have but I just like how Ibra plays and like him - that what matters :D) to be able to counter better but only at 16-17 year old category as with basic team and normal budget I had no opportunity to sign any of current good players just reborned. Now I may could but I will not just witch fits to my average age team. :) For 3-6-1 a good target man is not bad who can plays to AMF's though.

What is your oppinion about high physical contact w. lower balance vs. low physical contact w. higher balance for a striker? It looks like Target man's and Fox in the box training boosts physical very much compared to balance.
According to my experience higher physical contact can help hold the ball staticly after receiving a ball and may turn and shoot... while high balance... looks the same with other benefits (during dribbling, movement). Maybe without high physical contact after receiving the ball the defender can be closer while strong physical contact makes defenders pushed a bit away.
And when I receive the ball and start moving physical contact can push defenders away and advance with a sprint while high balance does not push but simply does not fall from defender ... But defender can try tackle better.
I have Arcas from ML team who has high physical contact and acceleration a simple running is good with him when I receive the ball and advance through a defender. Maybe it is better for it but that's all.

I can’t believe u take off de Paula and Brtual based off balance lmao. It’s based upon how a person plays, if you need box to box, BARTUAL is better than 90% of cm’s by your 2nd season. If you want a traditional Rivaldo type amf, de Paula is your guy.
Love you spoony but writing off players due to balance is like writing off a striker due to no speed. You clearly OP the shielding whilst playing, whereas another player may value gengenpress and someone like bartual is PERFECT for that system.
De Paula is awful, not just cuz of low balance but tight possession is woeful too. Turns like an oil tanker in cement mate. I've used him, yuk.

Nice, friend, I like the aspect that you took over the players. For sure Houssem Aouar, Upamecano, Ferran Torres and Sancho, they are really the top for me too. Bastoni is also a very good defender. I am of the same opinion as you with Erling Braut Haaland, as he seems that he develops into a high for, absolutely capable of headers- but he doesn't develop other characteristics. And I don't like that much one-sided players. As for J. de Paula, the only thing that I have to add is that he is a fake player, so I do wonder why you added him in the list, from the time that you have only real players. Have a nice time.

youre wrong about Haaland some of you..He is a goal machine. I play in legend.i cant take a championship thats why they fired me ...But haaland scored enormous amounts of goals...yes he has troubles with driple and shielding. But the rest is...... fire

Not prior to this video but he's still definitely not worth recommending, his balance is 67, his ball control is awful, like 73 - so the same applies and his dribbling stat is so low (high speed and low dribbling stat is a horrible combination).

Haaland is terible? He is a goal scoring machine, i play with Napoli, he is first goal scorer in the league. And i would recomend a Luis Maximiano, goalkeeper, he is poor with overal but he is a beast on goal.
Yup, Haaland is terrible. Play on Legend and see how many goals per season you score.
