They say you can't go home again. On this mid-July night of 2014, EUROPE proved that phrase to be a myth. They did, finally, after 35 years together(dating back to their FORCE days), return to the place where their name just grew in legend. And they rocked Vasby right down to it's foundations, while saying a BIG 'Thank You!' to those there that didn't lost faith in their greatest hard rock export. For the band, this is probably one of the Top 10 all-time gigs they've ever done, just like their May 1986 concerts in Solnahallen, their appearance in 1987 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, at Vina Del Mar in Chile in 1989, on Dec. 31, 1999 on that barge in Stockholm's Harbour to ring in the 2000s with BOTH John Norum and Kee Marcello on their guitars(in the greatest New Year's Eve party this world has EVER known), to when they made their mainstream return at the 2004 Sweden Rock Festival as the event headliners, as well as returning to that venue in 2013 for their 30th Anniversary party in their longest-ever gig.... ...but this was home for Joey, John N., John L., Mic, and Ian. And on this night, there was NO WAY IN HELL they were phoning it in. They went out and got it. No excuses. No compromise. They owned that stage that night, and returned 35 years of love and appreciation shown to them. =)
