The HOA is essential to know too. Visiting their website, I found out that HOA is $820 per month. Annual property taxes are 1.4% of the purchase price per year.
yea we just went up from $700ish a year last year... as all the Ponds needed re-doing this year... we do have 24 Hour Gate, and Fast Wifi is included -
Also, we all know the prices need to be higher to keep some groups out. As you watch the video, all you see is high-end coaches. I understand it's a business, and you want to keep your resort looking good and with people with money.
Love these types of videos on your channel Andrew, really enjoy the owner interviews. My wife and I both think it a gorgeous resort, but just a little too far west for our liking. Keep up the great work and lots of luck to you. Will see on the road.
Interesting set up. I don’t see anything restricting under 18’s from living there but I have two children under 18 and wonder if that would be an issue. Tbh they’re happily stay around the casita lol. With a pool they’d stay there.
The sad thing about our dogs is that they don't live as long as we do. Dessa looks like a sweetheart who has had a lot of love in her life. All the best with the sale of your lot. It is beautiful.@@intelopment
We pay just over $800 a month in HOA - 24 hr security, pickelball courts, tennis court, its always pristine, includes super fast internet.... around 360 days of sunshine.... my kids like the really close to Coachella Music festival part... me hmmm
Yes you can be here all year. However Coachella valley gets hot in the summer and most people go elsewhere. For most people this is not their primary residence.
Don’t get me wrong, that place is very beautiful. But…. I don’t get it, I’m confused. I’m trying to understand why someone would buy a 2 million dollar coach, then go and buy a 1 million dollar villa that u park your coach beside. Then while you’re there you have everything you need in the villa, so you don’t even stay in your coach unless you have extra family come and stay. But I’ve never been rich so I don’t know what I would or wouldn’t spend money on if I were rich! But hey for the people who do buy one of those lots with the villa more power to ya! It’s your money, spend it on whatever you want right! I do have a question though, can an owner of one of the villas go and stay there if they don’t have their motorhome with them? Or can they choose to live in there full time, as their only home, without their motorhome?
It is probably more of an asset. If you like traveling to that area you always have a home base. The biggest thing is to get it leased out for half the year to make it pay for itself and then you have an asset that is appreciating.
Took our coach there last spring. You can actually rent a basic spot for a decent price. FYI, its class A only and less than 10 years old. Never seen so many Newells in my life - it was cool to walk around. Not great for little ones though - I think my 2 and 6yo were the only kids there! Average age was probably 65. Also, dont let them fool you - the surrounding area is bad (low income, not super safe). The resort itself is nice and Palm Springs is kinda cool, but its pretty ghetto there...Also, 120+ in the summer (basically abandoned).
The surrounding area is actually very nice... in the middle of a neighborhood and 2 blocks from Motorcoach Country Club and Outdoor Resorts... so not sure where you get that from.... 2 blocks from Polo Grounds where Coachella is.... houses around the community still sell in the 750-900k range
@@shawnnorris Putting some Airbnbs, a concert, and a couple nice golf courses in the middle of the ghetto doesn't make the ghetto nice. Just Google crime stats for Indio.....I'm very familiar with the area and live about 2 hours west (Orange County). Last time I was there my family and I watched a car getting broken into in a strip mall....in broad daylight.
Beautiful-I love the Palm Springs area and go there every April-I am not sure I would want to own anything in California-it is a beautiful state but might not be worth the hassle of their policies, politics and regulations 🤷♀️😢for now I will just visit without the commitment ☀️🌴
As lovely as it is, this is California where the Governor loves taxation and taxes. Give me Florida any day where the Governor actually believes your money is your money. Amen.
So funny thing - the average effective tax rate for all real estate in California is 0.78%, while the rate for Florida is 0.98% it’s that CA are more expensive usually (facts matter) Florida does win with no state income tax but most people are retired -

That is low for what you get. The resort is immaculate. Rancho LaQuinta condo fees were more in the 2010 era. Beautiful.

That might be the nicest RV Resort you have viewed. 10,000 sq ft lots wow larger than my house lot. . Nice
Andrew, could be your best video yet! Loved it~
Remember this is in California!!!
Great questions in your various interviews, Andrew. Wonderful and inspiring video!

Dude you're finally going places again!! Hallelujah! I'm following again!
Very nice top notch resort with a lot of activities in area .
Beautiful, just waiting for my money to arrive :)
Should compare outdoor resorts…motorcoach country club and desert shores rv resorts with the ++ and - - of each

What a nice place. Thanks for the Tour
This is probalby the most beautiful luxury motorcoach resorts you've shown on your channel. Btw Andrew, we haven't seen Sadie lady lately. Is she Ok??
Beautiful resort. Desa is also a beautiful Landseer! 🙂
Thanks. Dessa is our lazy lady. Loves her naps but never misses a meal. At 10 1/2 yrs old we enjoy every day we have with her.

Wow, it’s awesome , period
Awesome visit
OK, Ijust put a barn door on our bathroom. Did I do it backwards? They have the flat plate on the outside of the door?
Wow that's outta this World
Californuae al all al barsha south drive tour
Stunning Andrew, but too bad NONE of them have an enclosed garage for the RV? The poor thing will have to stand the elements all the time?
360 days of sunshine.. the toughest thing we have is sun... April/May everyone leaves as Summer is too hot here...
Nice 👍 i really like these resorts. 🇨🇦
Was wondering what the HOA's are per month?
Mid $800
Is there a monthly membership fee/HOA dues, etc?
Of course there is, buddy. The question is- How much, and since it wasn't addressed, I would bet it's pricey.

So is this for year long living if you want to?
Yes you can be here all year. However Coachella valley gets hot in the summer and most people go elsewhere. For most people this is not their primary residence.
@@intelopment how hot does it get?
Dec/Jan highs are 65. May can see 100. Aug/Sep can see 120 at it's worst, but not the whole time. But it's a dry heat.
WOW awesome

A coach is required to be on the lot if you are there. It’s a beautiful place.

I should also point out that 750k in southern California is about the going rate for a house in the ghetto 😂
I didn’t hear how much HOA fees

That seems cheap? Hell pool alone is 140,000$ right?
Andrew is a parody of Jim Carey as a podcaster. Yes indeedy.
What are the HOA costs?
That's what I am dying to know. I can't even fathom what they will be.

The most expensive pool that exists. Ridiculous

If you have to ask the price you can't afford it.
