You should go to Wadi Rum and spend a whole week over there, magnificent! I came all the way from California just to visit it, unbelievable experience!
This is definitely one of your best vlogs!!! Very nice combination of video/pics/music/vlogging... very nice indeed. Light, entertaining, and expressive!
MashaAllah for the fact that you're there with 2 kids!! Seriously, you're super brave! Haha. I've been close to Petra twice when I was single, from Palestine and Egypt while backpacking, now the thought of travelling with my toddler, oh my God! Haha but this video was inspiring to keep travelling as a mum (inshaaAllah, what we can with covid)! Ps, mashaAllah skin glowing!! Not wearing makeup (too busy as a mum) actually helped my skin so much!haha ❤️
I was in Petra with my (wife, and daughters), four weeks ago, a very enjoyable trip. actually, it was the first time.....we went farthest of the treasury (to al Matl area) after the treasury,,, I urge the others to go there, it needs at least 4 hours hiking. I suggest starting at 7 AM - it is a charming district.
Petra is amazing, but it can be really full of people sometimes, if you do go there again I'd recommend you get there around 6-7 am. There wouldn't be a lot of people and it's very calm and peaceful, also the weather wouldn't feel like hell😅😅
I had visited the pyramids ,I had visited Petra or batra .... but Petra is something Wow more than I had imagined .it was really amazing *berbère-Algeria-Deutschland*
Not to mention all the great details in the video, but the integration of Rum by Jamaet Khair just added something else to the video. Great job on that. I'd highly recommend their music btw and it is an actual honor seeing you settling in the Jordanian community pretty well. Kudos to you wallahi!
So you did read "Married to a Beduin" lol I've asked you whether you read it or not in another video of yours. I read it long time ago, almost 10 years ago and it was fantastic, the wife mentioned beautiful details of Al Batra'a

Your comment about make up, you really don't need it you are a natural beauty, an English rose! So glad you got some holiday time, the children are so beautiful! And so good in all that heat! Not a bit gristle! Many blessing Rachel xx
watermelona33 in Jordan there are beduins and farmers (used to be peasants), this has changed a lot today but it was the demographic shape for a long time.
I love the addition of the music in this video, Rachel. Thank you for showing us through your eyes.

I’m enjoying it! It’s interesting to get a glimpse of a different side of Jordan, but it’s also very relatable :)
The lady who wrote the book is my adviser’s mom. Definitely a great read!!
