Super cute canvas! I'm so grateful my 13 year old son is an early riser. He never stays up past 11. All summer he slept in past 10 am maybe twice. We started back to school curriculum Monday and it's a struggle for me to adjust to waking up at 8 am. But I am already adjusted after 5 days. Going to bed about 11 pm asleep by 11:30 ish. Should be smooth sailing from here.
Nice! We start back the day after labor day, so there's 2 weeks left to try to ease into things. 6 a.m. is going to be a struggle for sure! My hubs works until 10:30 so I can never fall asleep until he's home because he makes a ton of noises, and it just takes me FOREVER to fall asleep.

Thats rough, I'm sure it's so much easier to work from home whenever possible. I would have loved to do classes online as a teen and in college. There were a handful of online hybrid classes at the community college when I went but it was early stages, like 2001.
LMAO! Every time you talked about how pretty the pink was I could see Mushy being all 🤢🤮 🤣 We have a Duncan in our house as well. He insists on planting his butt in the middle of my canvas when I am trying to work on them, or he likes to knock my pens on the floor. Brats! The double-sided adhesive canvas….just turn it into a poured glue using Diamond Dotz. Super easy. You just need to peel the adhesive off the canvas then apply a thick layer of Diamond Dotz on the canvas. I recently received a double-sided and that is what I am going to do with mine.
I'm not saying I mentioned the pink a ton to annoy her, but ... 🤪 I'm going to have to try turning the DSA into a poured glue with the DD adhesive. And if it gets ruined it won't be the end of the world! Cats can be such butts!!
No kids, but work wise, my schedule changes come September to go to the office every other week. In order to make that happen, I have to get up at o’dark thirty to be out the door by 5:45am. That means I lay out my clothes the night before because I can’t play dressy Bessie in the morning 💕💕💕
Its been so long since I had to be functional and presentable at the same time first thing in the morning, its either one or the other 😂 I need to be better about getting as much as humanly possible ready the night before. I do get coffee ready after cleaning up dinner stuff.
I always had natural consequences for my kids. I would tell them a couple weeks before school started that they might want to start going to bed earlier. Did they? No. But I also told them they were going to be getting up early for school soon. If they were exhausted it was their consequence. I also reminded them that they made that decision not me. Same with making lunches. I told them to make them the night before because it was easier. If they didn’t…well bummer now you’re tired AND you have to make your lunch. I stayed out of it. Their choices their consequences. ❤
