@Tal, I love the old school Jesse James t shirt! I am proud of you for taking the initiative to learn the language of the area culture you are visiting. Many visitors from English speaking countries which travel seem to expect their hosts to cater to their (the guests) language. Well Done! The contrast in the coloring is extremely noticeable, I experience this while growing up in West Berlin. I remember looking over the wall IntoEast Berlin/East Germany and not seeing any color. I have never been unable, in 45 years, to unsee that image. The US is becoming to look extremely similar at an increase rate every day. It is a shame, when we give up our color and authenticity, what do we have left? That novelty store looked interesting, as did the digital rooms in the beginning. Thanks for sharing, there is too many people there for me to ever want to go, and I’m pretty sure the best smoked brisket I will ever get is right here😂. Thanks for the video! I went to Japan for the first time last month for two weeks. I went to Tokyo and stayed in Roppongi), took the Shinkansen to Kyoto and stayed in Shimogyo, then rode the Shinkansen to Osaka, stayed in Naniwa, and finally back to Tokyo, and stayed in Shin-Okobu. I also spent time in Akihabara, Ikebukuro, Ueno, Shibuya, Yoyogi, Harajuku, TeamLab Borderless, Tokyo Tower, the Imperial Palace, Hie Shrine, Nogi Shrine, Meiji Jingu Shrine, Takeshita Street, the Koma River, Gion, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Dotonburi. I also made a pilgrimage to various locations from the famous anime 'Your Name.' Your video brought back great memories.

You made the right choice about not visiting that micro pig cafe! Cat and dog cafes originally served a purpose (as a space for people to interact with cats and dogs, because their apartments don't allow pets). But all of these cafes that are popping up with other animals, are simply exploiting those animals for tourists' money.... I especially have an issue with owl cafes. Those animals are nocturnal and being forced to be awake during the day isn't good for their health (and it gets incredibly sad when you do research on the impact that these cafes have on nocturnal animals such as owls and other non domesticated animals).
They liked the fresh tuna !😂😂😂 they looked so surprised with those big pieces of pink tuna sushi. The texture is akward its just protein doesnt really taste alot i think you soyasauce to make the flavours pucker.
I’m just an old lady who lived in Japan as a teenage back in the late 60’s, early 70’s…….and boy has Japan become quite westernized in ways…I see it in the kids the most, but it’s also funny that back when I was there…..there was NOTHING American……it was VERY culturally Japanese. It’s weird to see American food break into the cultures of many countries that I have lived in. I have seen so many countries in the last 4-5 decades lose parts of their beautiful “culture” and foods to adopting “what I consider” ridiculous American ways. 😞 (especially Korea…..it’s weird to see vendors selling hot dogs, pancakes, Mac n cheese, etc…and calling it all “Korean street food” 😂😂. I remember being aware enough at a young age to know the beginning of the end was when McDonald’s, Burger King, and other American crappy chain restaurants started moving in to all these countries. 😞🤦♀️ I will say……😂👍it’s nice to see how the younger generation of females have found their independence and footing in their culture……not so much of that 5 decades ago. 😞
