These guys gave me permenant tinnitus in my left ear by suddenly kicking this song in and that was 2007 so... I think its staying.. just have to turn it up a bit more 😂
Just a thought-- in the music video the person who is being beaten is being beaten by himself (the idea of self harm, or hurting yourself) Later in the music video, the same character finds himself in a prison environment; the person who comes help him is, himself. I'm sure the song ties back to God in some way, as this is ABR, but perhaps the "strongest crutch" is yourself, and the song is telling you to figure out how to take care of your own problems? Not totally sure but that was my interpretation.
