Even if marrying a single mother is a NO-GO, I'd give props to OP for being the father that stepped up for Kevin.

I'm guessing Karen slept around in the past (explains why Kevin's bio dad isn't in the picture) and when her son was old enough to be left at school, she went off the rails with her rampant sleeping around like before. She couldn't even be bothered to change for the better. She's for the streets!

So let me get this, right: A good for nothing cheating. Wife is trying to get the best of both worlds by having someone to raise her son for her, while also living the highlife sleeping with men, other than her husband, and a surprise, that neither her ex-husband nor her son want to live with her anymore.
I mean seriously you literally had a great life, a son that loves you and a husband, supported and provided for you and you do that on the way for some cuddle time with a stranger who probably never even really cared about you!!

at the time we recently got our dog named Pok. During the hours before the graduation mom was insisting on getting a dogsitter for Pok, but Dad refused. Because the last time Pok had a dogsitter he got hit by a car and broke his leg. So Dad decided to watch over Pok so Pok wouldn't get killed by another car.
That makes sense.
