Good. All the Best for your Studies.
The foci of an ellipse are 90 mm apart and the minor axis is 65 mm long. Determine the length of the major axis and draw the ellipse by concentric-circles method.
Fist Draw 90mm line mark end points as F1&F2.At the middle of 90mm that is at 45mm, Mark middle Point as O. At 'O' Draw vertical line as Minor axis(Above 'O' 32.5mm & below 'O' 32.5mm)total length is 65mm. Mark End points as C & D. CD is the Minor axis. By using compass measure F1C length, 'O' as Centre Draw an arc on Horizontal axis (Focus line). Take that point is A. OA is the Half of Major axis. Take OA length, mark OB on other side of the horizontal line From 'O'. End point is B. Now AB is the Major axis. For doing ellipse follow the same method as in video.
Outstanding explanation and it's only took 9 min. Thank you so much 🔥

Mam how can we construct with out knowing major axis length in some cases
If you know only minor axis length & Focus Position , we can construct Ellipse .
Asalamualikum mam…! The way you explained for us is totally unbelievable and me and my frnds was played and didn’t attend to any of our drawing class but after watch this video I can say surely that I can write this in my exam and. Tomorrow is my exam

Mam can you please tell the number of French curve that you had used
For Ellipse, only one(small type).
For parabola medium French curve. For Hyper bola big French curve. There are total 3types French curves
Thanks so much ☺
