    Just discovered your channel. Finally, we can get to see a truly skilled fisherman in action without having to suffer the endless 'maaaaaaaaate's and chugging ridiculous numbers of beers before hitting the boat ramp. You know, cos its always beer o'clock. I rate your videos at the top of the tree along with the likes of Chris Bamman. Keep up the good work. Please keep the videos coming.

    Just goes to show to keep it simple and the results will come. Once again the channel markers and fishing around Maggie is as reliable as ever without having to break the budget at the fuel bowser. Keep up the great videos mate. Well done. 😊

    Looks like you are in the middle of nowhere. What makes the mackerel congregate in that area? I can see what keeps the fish around the island. Nice underwater video, the water is so clear. Thanks for another excellent outdoor adventure.

      The predatory fish follow the bait schools that seek refuge near any form of structure. Thanks for your question!

    You are definitely an Australian fishing TH-camr now that you've cracked out the fish wraps! Really enjoying your videos Thanks! Makes me realize what I missed out on locally when I lived in the 'ville I couldn't stay away from Hinchinbrook and barely fished locally.

    • @returnoutdoors2210

      Too true, wraps seem to be synonymous with Australian TH-cam.😄 There is definitely some beautiful locations and excellent fishing close to Townsville. The Hinchinbrook Island area is definitely a world class location and you are very fortunate to have fished that area. Thanks for sharing your comment.
      Take care, Brad.👍

    That was your best one yet mate. I really enjoyed the underwater footage. Did you do the cook up at Nobby headland? Ps, glad whatever that remora was attached to wasn’t around when you were swimming 😂. That was a big one.

    Really good watch and shows just how relaxing a feed can be, Will you tell me? was the grey mackerel any good for eating? and when you say school mackerel they look so much like spotties are the the same and grow into spotties? but I saw your Spanish and although you were not holding it up to the camera I couldn't see a huge difference there at that age so I guess the difference in full-grown Spanish is easy to tell LMAO. Thanks for the awesome watch and feed as I could almost smell them, Yum. Cheers From Garry and Family

    • @returnoutdoors2210
      @returnoutdoors2210  ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion Grey mackerel are of a high eating quality. The difference between school and spotted mackerel is ‘usually’ apparent due to the distinctive spots on a spotted mackerel. The Spanish or Narrow-barred mackerel have wavy vertical bars. Glad you enjoyed the video!

    Question 🙋‍♀️ how long do the School Mackerel have to be?

    • @returnoutdoors2210
      @returnoutdoors2210  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The current minimum take size for a Qld. School Mackerel is 50cm. Thanks for your question!
