- In this video, we popped by the legendary Bedok 85 Fengshan Food Centre for a $100 Hawker food challenge! Joining me is Norbin, a local Tiktok Celebrity famous for mixing drinks.

Personally I would have eaten the bak chor mee, hokkien mee, dumplings/xiao long bao, porridge first as they are best eaten when it's hot. Noodles will turn soggy, dumplings/XLB will turn dry and skin harden etc. But I'm speaking as a casual foodie who enjoys my food LOL

@@ZermattNeo I used to stay near block 85 for several years too. Instead of these 2 stalls I actually liked Ah Poh BCM instead. If you go to block 85 again you gotta try that stall.

Bedok 85 is where I grew up during my early childhood years(1yrs-7yrs Old), there used to be a chizhar （老三煮炒） stall there which brings back memories but the uncle quite old maybe no longer breathing air in this earth. the minced meat noodle stall's original stall is the 1 which sells the soup base only stall (the 1 your fren eating is the original stall). The rest is like quite recently there lesser than 20yrs, the satay bee hoon I remember been there more than 20yrs. Dumpling stall should be there less than 15yrs only, satay stall i remember during my childhood time was in a corner, now i think moved to the front row. you give your fren a thick gold chain and necklace and the way he talks and express himself...makes him like 90% ah long look alike.
Oh yes that bcm is really a different league. Yeah the Satay bee hoon is really good also bro. Like I don't even like satay beehoon but this one genuinely solid
Looks shiok for all the food, I agree with Norbin on mixing foods for unique taste/texture.

And to add on, I think the XLB and the porridge should eat first? Cos porridge eat piping hot is damn shiok especially with the egg in it followed by XLB, leave it too long the skin texture becomes hard then not shiok already. Give me choose I will choose the porridge as the go to food to eat and the satay beehoon queue can be crazy but the satay beehoon portion wise is generous ☺️

I used to eat here every week. But I find the bak chor mee overrated, and the soup is usually too salty without much flavour. The porridge is definitely good. The white bee hoon here is good too.
