    91128 developed a transformer fault during the day so was running off batteries when the pantograph started bobbing. You need power to keep the pantograph up and the batteries don't last long.

    I know I’m very late but I’ve just noticed the 90 and 91s have the newer Bracknell Willis HSX pantograph rather than the original they were built with

      I will try to keep it up, although that doesn’t seem very likely right now!

    You think it’s got enough power to move 😂

      Hmmmm, I think so, might need a few more horsepower to make it to Bedford and back but I’m sure it will cope!

    Is this testing for 12 car 360s with all three pantographs up?

    Why is the diesel on when the class 91 has pantographs up

    • @DMTrainspotting
      @DMTrainspotting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The diesel locos are simply there so that they can move the train from its sidings up in Nottingham (where the line isn’t electrified) down here in order to start testing.
