- Santana Gopala is a composition of Muthuswami Dikshitar in Ragam Khamas set to Roopaka thalam. This video features a raga alaapana in Khamas followed by the krithi and kalapana swarams. Live concert recording from Chennai Fine Arts, December 2017.
Ragam Khamas is a Janya of Harikambhoji, the 28th Melakartha. Khamaj (खमाज) of Hindustani Music closely resembles Khamas ragam.
