Kingfisher Alcedo atthis in the nest

Early ontogeny of the common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) was monitored directly in the nest chamber via the entrance to the nest hole using SAMSUNG GALAXY S20. Chicks were recorded in two or three days intervals from the day of hatching (day 1) to the fledging (day 23). Study was carried out on two streams in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic (Čestínský stream, Losinský stream, both Sázava River basin).
