Also worth mentioning: YOU CAN TRANSFER LATER!!! At any point in the future, you can go into the settings and activate the transfer. Play through the game with normal progression up to whatever point you desire and your Crew 2 cars will always be there if you decide you want them.

I'm definitely transferring. The only people who'd be upset about it are people who didn't play the Crew 2. As a casual gamer, it took years to build a proper car collection and I wasn't looking forward to doing that again. My biggest issue with car games has always been not having enough time to drive the cars you want throughout the story. Plus I still got cars in the Crew 2 I'm still grinding for like the Voiture Noire, Divo and Gemera, plus new cars so I don't think it affects the long term playability that much.
I think being able to import into this game almost makes it worth it alone. I spent way too much time and real money buying cars In the crew 2 just before this was announced and I thought all of that was wasted. I get it from a grinding perspective it with it being an option there shouldn’t be anyone complaining

I transferred my cars because I worked hard for them and I’ll probably use them again plus I have 2 summit cars (Spear F1 fan car and 1 rx3). But the main reason why I transferred my cars is that i can focus on the new cars more like the Senna GTR and Bolide. And one more thing I felt when I transferred my cars was that you really feel like you’re the current star/champion from the crew 2 coming to Motorfest for a new adventure rather than a new kid on the block
I did the same dude, i´m icon 3500+ on TC2, and just focus on the expensive af new cars is better than regrind the whole 500+ cars again, i´m level 30 atm on TCM and really feels like a new adventure than a 'nobody'.

@@soulslayergamer2318 you will have all the customisation upgrades together with their vanities with the car when it gets transferred. Performance wise it’s reverted to stock

With 200 hrs in tc2 , i had a feeling id grind for cars again (58 transferred) so thought id grind for cars i never got in tc2 in motorfest. Been enjoying the hell out of it since even those transferred feel and sound different

If there’s a possibility to transfer my collection from a previous game i’ll definitely do it. Especially in the crew since the grind for some of these cars like the platinum stuff has been quite painful at times. After all that i’m definitely not gonna leave my cars behind.
Good video Sid. I would love to see a video of just a variety of car sounds now that you have the redline kit. I'd love to see comparisons with and without the kit on a number of cars.
I downloaded the game on my other PlayStation account so I can’t transfer and I had 179 cars and 80 vanities 😢

Motorfest introduced like 5 more cars that I was actually interested in. There's no way I would start over grinding for 250 cars that I already had in The crew 2.
Also they added the Audi RS3 late game but it wasn't brought over to Motorfest??!!!!

More than likely the game will inform you that you already have the vehicle.
If it’s special edition with different vanities and tunes then you might get it regardless.
Have played the crew 2 for 5 years, would play motorfest another 5 years to unlock them once more
I hope The Crew Motorfest can have a similar level of success, if not higher. 5 years of live service isn't easy.

It definitely looks like a lot of things in Motorfest were rushed last minute and many features of the previous game are missing. As an example, yesterday I spent a bit of time grinding 3 million credits in Crew 2 to buy the One:1/Jesko bundle. Today I decided to drive the One:1 in Motorfest and noticed you can't even paint it anymore. That vehicle has been paintable in literally every single game it's ever been in. This tells me that they just ran out of time trying to adapt certain cars to the new game.
Damn, 604 launch cars plus 538 transfer cars minus ones that cant be transferred because its already in the game or vehicles that cant be added because of licensing totals it too roughly 1142 cars. Thats insane. We're not even counting crew 2 season 9 cars or the 25 year 1 pass cars either. Just insane
I dont know if you still need exploration xp, but there is one plane feat that is great for farming that, when you skip half the checkpoints you can get a lot in just 40 secs. (its method 3 in my most recent video) I think its unlocked with the hawaii tour playlist.
havent bought the game yet but look foward to getting it soon i think imma keep my cars in the crew two and use motorfest as a new start tc2 was most of my highschool haha playing the summits or playing with freindswas so fun! i still even played the game when all my friends fell off i just loved it. hopefully comming to the crew motorfest i can find a crew to hangout with it would be fun to play with people again. i definitly plan on still playing the crew 2 even after i play motorfest. but first i gotta get an ssd so i can actually have all my games ready to go. that thing has sutch bad internal storage it cant even download the pack in game ragnorock lol cant wait to get my hands on motorfest though.
The cars do feel different and better until you need to mess with their camber and roll bar settings for a summit event then they feel wonky like in TC2 again.

I’m importing my cars because most of the cars I’ve spent years worth of hours grinding for them and have a neat collection in tc2, i’d assume everyone who played tc2 wants their cars in the game and also that there are some exclusive cars in tc2 that you will most likely never see again

Why are people upset? You can choose to not transfer them. You can choose to grind as much as possible. Every franchise game like this shoukd have such an option. People play the old one as well as the new one.
I may be wrong, but I think that pokemon games used to be like this... where you could transfer pokemon between the games... and no one complained... the only people who are complaining I feel like, are people who slept on TC2 and now feel left out... I started grinding TC2 as soon as the import collection info came out

Also you can still get the cars you buy in Crew 2 after the import automatically to the Crew MF.

I feel like most people will transfer for the exclusive cars only available through the crew 2.
I chose to import my collection, it was like 30 cars since i had just gotten tc2 but imo it was worth it
Nice thing about the import feature, it's not a one off, it'll continue to import any new cars you buy or earn in crew 2 especially the ones that were available before July 5th (anything that became available on the 5th or after won't be imported until December 6th) so you can keep earning cars in crew 2 and for a lot of them it's going to be cheaper to grind the money in crew 2 and buy them there than it will to get them in motorfest
@@LordAnorakSo this means TCM scans your TC2 database from your Ubisoft Connect account every time TCM is launched? I was initially thinking of importing mine only when TC2 stops receiving new vehicles and after I've stopped adding more in TC2.

@@HiYEENAH That's honestly the one thing I've been hesitant on about getting that game cuz as a guy whose been playing car games his whole life, I love to design. So I'd be pretty disappointed to find out that the liveries I made for my cars didn't get ported, but the cars did.

Why would they disappear from the crew 2 if it's the same account. The only way for you to not get your crew 2 vehicles is if you use another account.

so I also transfered my cars, but somehow my Bugatti chiron divine edition and the pilatus plane didnt transfere. Do you know if thats a mistake or intentional by ubisoft?

Those car was came from season 9 afterward. You have to wait until december and will be transfer automatically.

I like the idea of having to grind it from nothing but each to their own🤷♂️ and the exclusive crew 2 cars are annoying as I barely played the crew 2 and there’s loads of the catalog on this game you can’t get

I think once you finish a playlist you can replay the races with your own cars.

Finish any playlist and use your cars, Liberty Walk has a 10 minute easy race good for grinding money/ parts, the last race of the Super Car Blondie is great for the same reason, among other races, and this month grind the pop culture stuff easy levels and cash.

But I would say it’s worth importing if you plan to do the pvp grand races as you will have all these fast cars you already got in the crew 2 - but yeah I get that you want the progression

@@The1Music2MyEars yeah…….I brought the game on Friday but tbh it didn’t give a great first impression I definitely find the map a lot smaller than the massive us map from the second crew game but then again these are early days I may grow to get used to it - I think I could be a bit done with all the grinding and driving for miles and miles I had to do in the crew 2 to earn enough bucks to buy more vehicles. I think in motorfest I will just explore the island and take part in the fun looking grand races also I love the new addition of the car showroom where players can show off their liveries and different car looks it’s great how you can even run around the showroom as your created character to browse all the different coloured cars people have come up with, also you can use the photo mode so you can take pics of your favourite cars you can also upvote your favourite creations if you want to. What sold me on the game really was the epic grand races they look chaotic and unpredictable looking forward to entering my first one soon

Me too it saves a lot of money and time and also really useful to have a wide selection of already owned fast cars for the crazy pvp grand races. I remember some of the vehicles I got in the crew 2 took absolute ages to get the required amount of bucks
