Brooo, I’ve wanted some Winnings, but that price is just outrageous. Maybe if I was still an active fighter then it might be worth it for me but right now, no sir! 😆
I think the NBNL gloves were meant as Canelo's version of Grants pro fight gloves, where you get the flexibility of a horsehair puncher's glove like Reyes, but with an overall denser structure. The perfect balance between gloves imo.
I’ve never put on Grants, but I know they are supposed to be more on the protective side so I agree, the No Boxing No Lifes are like a mix of the puncher’s gloves and the extra protection.
Coach what gloves would you recommend for sparring? Cuz for me, I love that Mexican-style glove with the horsehair. I was lucky and managed to get a pair of Salvador HFs when they were a bit more affordable but I have some wrist issues every now and then so what gloves would you recommend for sparring?
It kind of depends on where you’re at. MMA gyms are more lenient with glove sizes which I recommend getting either 12 or 14 oz gloves for. Boxing gyms are more strict on enforcing 16 oz gloves for sparring. At this time, I don’t really have a specific brand or glove to recommend for that but I’ll do a video on that in the future 👌🏽.
Well if you buy the pro fight gloves they probably won’t last super long if you use them every day, they will last longer if you use them every now and again with good care
Correct. In terms of brand, I favor the durability of the No Boxing No Life pro fight gloves, but if we’re talking about everyday training durability, the pro fight gloves are not designed to last as long as bag gloves/training gloves.
always had Venum pro gloves but bought Monday No Boxing No Life 14oz, arrived today. Will test them out on Saturday. Felt good when I had them just on to test the fit. Should be good.
where did you buy the no boxing no life gloves from? and how much were they? I found some on amazon and ebay but they were only 90$ made it kind of sus for some real leather and Mexican style gloves. also some reviews said they were fake.
Thanks for the solid insights! I've always liked my cletos, but thats probably because they're the first "good" pair of gloves I've really used. Definitely wanna get a pair of NBNL gloves one day once the skill level catches up lol
I could understand the feeling of getting that first “good” pair. You feel boujee af 😂. Yeah the NBNL’s are on point all around 👌🏽👌🏽. But break those Cletos you got until they look like Muhammad Ali era gloves. It’s satisfying!
Get the fight gloves, don’t get their training gloves. I have a pair and my biggest problem is that it’s huge for it’s size (my 14oz NBNL is bigger than some 16oz gloves I have) and the thumb piping is uncomfortably tight, and I have medium sized hands.
Whichever hits harder depends on the fighter, not the glove. But the Cleto Reyes probably sacrifices a little more hand protection for a more damaging punch.
@@coachpillowfists thanks for providing the link. it seems the ones you have in this video are all sold out. Those are the best looking ones with the metallic blue. for me at least. the other ones in stock look like any other basic gloves. I'll wait until they have more of the metallic colored ones and buya pair of those.
im outside us it is not easy find no boxing no life somebedy selling that gloves it is good for all training i have cleto reyes fight gloves horse hair i used only pad i think it is not good heavy bag or drills

Cleto reyes gloves suck!!!! Bought a pair and got 3-4 months before they started tearing. Called CR and they would take no responsibility for the pre mature break down. Other gloves that are much older that are still 100%. 1V1, Hit and Move, Rival which has perfect customer service. Never again will I buy Cleto Reyes!!!!!!!
i love the way he says cleto reyes
That's spanish for you
I’m hitting thumbs up just for how he prenounces cleto Reyes 👍🏼

Would the NBNL gloves be good for everyday training use? (Heavy bag, sparring, etc.) I’m thinking of buying one
I personally would say so.
Thanks coach

@@Джабраилович theboxingcollector they are in Mexico..ordered Monday evening and had them Thursday and I am in Phils . Quick turnaround
@ma-bx1oy they are pricey though, around 400 to 500 dollars.
How often do you train in the NBNL gloves?
Maybe a few days a week. I don’t actively train boxing as much since I’m no longer competing.
they both look absolutely sick, Coach stylin' haha!

How's the padding on the nbnl gloves after awhile? Still usable?
Still usable to me!
would you recommend the safe techs for every day training? how long would they last?
I personally like to use them for everyday training. The white ones I showed in this video are after about 3 years of use and are pretty broken down.
Awesome breakdown, thnx coach!
Thank you bro! 🥊🥊
If you buy them from online do they come ?
Yes, I bought all of these online.

Do they sell 16oz nbnl gloves?
I'm sure they sell 16 oz training/sparring gloves, but you wouldn't find the pro fight gloves featured in this video in 16 oz.
who is more puncher glove ?
reyes or nbnl who is hit harder ?
Whichever hits harder depends on the fighter, not the glove. But the Cleto Reyes probably sacrifices a little more hand protection for a more damaging punch.

Are the nbnl gloves you are reviewing here the fight gloves or training model?
They are the fight gloves. They should make like an equivalent of the Cleto Reyes Safetec gloves, but honestly these have been pretty durable.

Sounds like you got fake gloves. There are lots of copies out there now. Sorry mate!
Yeah 3-4 months sounds rather quick, but I do agree that their customer service is horrendous if you did buy directly from the source.
