It's just his own take on a mix of dance influences (hip-hop, locking, waving, popping, etc.). You can't really pin his style down to one exact type; that's what makes his way of dancing uniquely his. A lot of people in Akkibaccano are like this too. His teammate-ness in this video is known for his tutting, but he also utilizes waving and breakdancing footwork in his battles.
In the case where you want to learn how to dance similar to him id say to start off with learning how to groove and developing some solid footwork. After that you can start incorporating other elements into your style and build up from there. Having a strong foundation is important in dance as it opens up a lot more moves for you to learn later on. Thanks for the reply. I should’ve been more specific. Is there a name for one of the styles 龍 uses, shown mainly in the first half of this video: th-cam.com/video/9xiHjCvJrtw/w-d-xo.html ? I can recognise the more “common” dance styles, (eg. popping, locking, tutting) for the most part. But I’ve never seen this kind of move before. I love the way he ‘slurs’ his body and pivots his legs, the footwork where it seems like he’s going to fall but he never does. Personally, my favourite dance from 龍
