I had a really good answer from guest services regarding new lightning lane booking. It explained why it’s not open to European guests and some solutions. The solutions weren’t practical for me, but at least I felt heard. I would post it hear, but feel strangely loyal to guest services who may not be ready for the onslaught and I don’t know how to direct message people, because I think you would handle it sensitively. I used terms that suggested the new system is not equitable after the first response which was copy and paste and that’s when they really considered the answer and have fed the feedback upwards. Thought you would like know. Nice to challenge changes that affect us with out becoming haters. I love booking Disney dining. I will be quick service on our next visit though
Thank you so much for watching! Booking the dining is such a fun part of the build up to the trip right? Unfortunately there isn't an option to send messages on TH-cam but I do also have a Instagram account (instagram.com/most.magical.guides)! I am glad you got to speak to guest services and you felt heard. I received a very generic email (which I've seen a lot of people have the same response) and it definitely feels like Disney aren't super concerned with the impact it will have on international guests. So I am super glad to hear you had a much better experience! This is positive!
@@MostMagicalGuides hei! The link didn’t work probably because I don’t have instagram either. I nearly copied the message here again. Don’t know what is stopping me apart from not wanting to be controversial on a public site. The gist was they had shared my comments with their leadership team along with appropriate management as my type of feedback is taken seriously. They then had some suggestions and the reason for the restrictions. “At this time, there are international laws in place regarding ecommerce that prevent us from being able to offer the pre-arrival purchase to our International Guests. In order to ensure that we are properly following these international laws, our My Disney Experience app will verify the geographical location of our Guests prior to allowing the selection process to begin. We are happy to share that if you have family, friends, or a Travel Agent you work with in the United States, they are able to assist you with making your purchase and selections in advance. They may either use your own account, with your permission, or be in your Family & Friends list on your My Disney Experience account.” My travel agent is virgin so not sure they are able to help. If only I had American family or friends, but it would involve sharing my login details.
Thank you so much for watching! It is so exciting it is your 60 days soon! I hope you get every restaurant you want! Plus it means your trip is so close now!
Update: I got all the dining reservations on the days and times I wanted, plus a lightsaber build for my husband. The only thing I couldn't grab was the Seats and Sweets fireworks dessert party, but I was able to get the Post Party instead. Thanks again!
This is so helpful! I book tomorrow morning. I am just booking for my husband and I. Is it a good idea to look for reservations for 4 instead of 2 to have a better chance of finding availability? Then modify later on?
@@Karla.everafter it's so exciting you can book tomorrow! There is usually availability for 2 people but if there is a reservation that you can't get then I would try for 4 and then modify later! I hope you get all the reservations you want!
@MostMagicalGuides It's my first time booking reservations! I'm so excited! Okay, I'll give it a try! I'm trying for Topolinos Breakfast and Space 220! Of course, two of the hardest lol
I hope you get them all! I'd book Space 220 first (and if you have the option to be flexible with the date that can help a lot!). Space 220 do offer walk ups on the day too which is always handy to know as a back up! Topolino's Terrace is so fun! My favourite character dining meal! You have picked amazing restaurants!
@@MostMagicalGuides I was able to get both! I had to be flexible with my date for Space, but I'll be checking daily to hopefully get the date we really want!
Thank you so much for watching! I have a list of the hardest to get reservations here! (Since this was written Roundup Rodeo Barbecue in Hollywood Studios has opened and I would also add this to the list!) www.mostmagicalguides.com/post/which-dining-reservations-are-the-hardest-to-get-at-disney-world
Do you recommend the browser over a phone app to book? Trying to get a fantasmic dining reservation and the app crashes when I refresh at 5am (6am Florida time)
@@Taylor-B97 This is a great question! I always book via a browser as it is always more stable and reliable. The app tends to be glitchy and it makes it more difficult to book. So a browser is definitely the best bet!
What I tend to do for trips is I save a set amount each month so I know how much money I will have each year to spend on holidays. And then because I know roughly how much a Disney World, Disneyland or Disneyland Paris trip will cost I can plan the next couple of years out. So I tend to plan 2 or 3 years in advance so I know how much money I need and where to allot the holiday savings too.
I got so excited for you while watching you book your ADRs and it’s not even my own trip haha!😂😂🫶🏻 I am so excited for your trip🙌🏻 I feel like once your booking window for your ADRs comes, it really hits you that your trip is not that far away anymore 🥹❤️
Yes! I love ADR day! I get so excited for it! You are so right, once ADR day comes you know your trip is so close now! I find you get super excited when you first book and look into everything you want to do, then there is a long period of waiting, and then ADR day ramps all the excitement up again!
Which restaurant is on your list to try during your next trip?
The answer to that is probably too many🤡😂
@@x_anea this is such a good point! It is impossible to narrow it down to one!
You go girl! For real gave me so much confidence! First time doing it on my own in the morning!

Rapid fire reservations 👏👏👏 love the strategy. Thanks for sharing.
