    My family and me have been talking about getting a chameleon. We are of course motivated by their color variation, but you definitely gave me a good breakdown and answered a few of our questions. Thank you for sharing.

    I just got a male ambilobe panther chameleon about 3 weeks ago and your videos have helped so much! In regards to your handling part, I can definitely say he is more flighty when I hold him than I had seen with other veiled chameleon videos. At first, that worried me because I thought it was discomfort, but your experience has definitely eased my mind!

    Love the video,
    but I believe you compared Male Panther Chameleon sizes to Female Veiled Chameleon sizes.
    Veiled Chameleons or indeed larger as you suspected.
    Panther Chameleons can grow to be around 21 Inches in Size but
    Veiled Chameleons can reach around 24 Inches.
    (Males of course, Females on both are considerably smaller)
    Also Veiled Chameleons are a lot bulkier so that makes them look even bigger if you compare them "side by side" ^^

    I had a Jackson, i think i ever touched him twice 🤭 they are so fragile and personable. Chameleon are so awesome but demand a lot of care and upgradation.

    Not really interested in chameleons, but it was very concise and informative, and I love learning about new reptiles.
    Three weeks until NARBC, where I am picking up my BRB and my Poison Dart Frogs! Woo hoo!
    Keep up the good work.

    I had a veiled chameleon for about 5 years that I had gotten from PetSmart. It was a male and his name was "Bullet!" I'd love to get another one, but would rather know where it came from and know it's healthy. Amazing video and thank you for sharing 😊

    So my 1st Chameleon was availed also the end was wonderful and she lived for 8 years which is from what I understa very long time for a chamelfour a looking for something that is More colorful and More docile. because she was very great but as she got older she got grumpy... Also Like I said I would like one that changes color a lot because she was only dark or light green a few black spots every now and then. Any advice would be helpful thank you

    I own a veiled and panther, I have to strongly agree on their clamping styles! My veiled has strong grip than my panther

    • @margaretheilig2469
      @margaretheilig2469 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also my panther is way more flight while my veiled is like a stand up who will show you they are not backing down as easy. The difference is so educating & beautiful. Again, the main thing is trust between you and the chameleon

    My panther Waldo is not flighty at all. He moves fairly slow but i do agree his clamps are not as strong as a veiled.

    I want a veiled chameleon so bad. Just worried that they are super delicate. Thats the only thing that holds me back from getting one 😅

    • @reptiliangarden
      @reptiliangarden  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say the care is more of challenge than their physicality. A lot of them don’t like being handled, but if you build trust and can get them out on you, handling should be safe. They are slow moving and have a firm grip!
