Well i should sleep and write something about this tommorow but let's be honest : I can't just go to sleep without telling you again how much i love this video , it made two month but i just feel like it was my duty to tell you how much i love it. I already talk about the transition but i will do it again because i just notice how much every character seems to have a real talking between them or how much every flashback are so well mixte with the present. Aslaug and Heahmund are so syncronise it seems it happen at the same instant for exemple. It is the same with Heahmund thinking about it's dream , it is so well done , the expression seem so right and it give this scene a real impact. I also wanted to say that you were really good with the i love you because it could have not be easy and yet they sounds right and really soft. It show that you can have the best actor in the world but without chemistry it doesn't work ( and man we have chemistry in this video) The way Ivar is is so much more well cool than the show , first because you only show the sentence and the atrocities he do with quick shot , it is more effective. Ivar is not so much an idiot because well you make him a tyrant but not because he believe he have some holy conception . He is just convices that if he show too much kindness he will be treated with disrespect and Freydis is not helping ... plus i think it give the Machiaveli aspect ( Alex talk about it on Ig ) of the character even more justified. I really like the ivar of this video X). I love Heahmund too , because well i think that it was the Heahmund i fall in love at first. He is truly a survivor , that just use pawn to get what he want ( or at least at the beginning ). He want to go to England and fight for his god . Than of course the more it go the more he think that Ivar was a good friend ( lover) and the nightmare doesn't help . The way he is afraid of what he dream and how much he make him think about Ivar and all he feel for him. At this moment Heahmund show the most fragile side of himself that we rarely see and he is precious. I also really like how he is hesitating because he think that he have what he wanted - his title of bishop - and yet he reaaaaaallllyyyy want to go back to Ivar. AAAAAh the angst XD Conclusion : Write the episode ! The devellopement is far better here . Everything is better here!
@@aleksandrameyers4525 Hehe yep, Heahmund chooses Ivar :'') I’m glad you liked the end. I was afraid it might be too sappy, though I do think with time and trust they might eventually get to that point where they could openly say such sentimental things to each other. I don’t plan to write a fic based on this idea, though anyone else is free to do so :P I actually have other ideas for 5B, which I will eventually explore in the fic I already have on AO3. I can’t give you a whole story for this video’s idea, but I hope you will be satisfied with this general plot: Heahmund betrays Ivar by joining Lagertha’s side and goes back to England. Once there, he notices that he no longer fits in. After Heahmund kills Cuthred, King Alfred may appear to be on Heahmund’s side, but he also condemns his actions and the people don’t appreciate him. Furthermore, King Alfred ultimately wants peace and Heahmund is, at heart, a creature of war. But when King Alfred wonders if Heahmund has changed and Heahmund answers that he is what he has always been, they are both not wrong. What changed is only that Heahmund realized that he never fit in and that he no longer wants to suppress his true self. Ivar merely unleashed what was buried deep inside Heahmund; the violence and darkness were already there. He taught Heahmund to accept who he is instead of crippling himself to fit into the confines of a society/religion that brands him as a sinner and forces him to suppress his natural urges. Heahmund paradoxically found freedom in his time as Ivar’s captive, and now that he has gotten a taste of it he can’t go back to the way he was before. As such, he is already very conflicted when his god sends him a vision of the future. He sees the entirety of Ivar’s reign of terror, his ascension to godhood and his manipulation by Freydis and everything else that happened in 5B. This puts him into an even deeper crisis, and he questions god’s plan and everything he knows about himself. Now, whether Heahmund loved Lagertha is open to interpretation. I personally like to think that he never did and only used her to get back to England. He is still manipulating her to better keep the pagans under control and make them more willing to fight for England when he has the vision. He thought what he wanted was to get back to England, but once he achieved his goal, he realized that what he truly desires is to be with Ivar. The vision gives him the push he needs to betray everything he has ever known, determined to save Ivar and make sure the future he saw would never come to pass. Lagertha isn’t stupid and keeps doubting Heahmund, questioning his motives, while he pretends to love her and the plan forms in his head. Eventually, Heahmund uses the Battle of Marton to get rid of her and escape without anyone noticing. Whether she survives or not is up to your interpretation, but if she does, I think he would bring her back to Kattegat, where Ivar would sacrifice her to the gods and get revenge for his mother. As for Freydis and Baldur… I actually don’t have any concrete ideas for them! I don’t like Freydis, but I don’t hate her either. Once Heahmund has returned to Kattegat, Ivar is quite stunned, a little angry, but I think he would be more awed by the fact that Heahmund came back at all -- and even with Lagertha! Of course Heahmund tells Ivar about his vision and Freydis’ duplicity. I’m not quite sure about the chronology in 5B, but has Ivar already taken Freydis as his wife? Is she already pregnant? Either Ivar would kill her or he would spare her, but only because he wouldn’t want to deprive Baldur of his mother. He already sees Baldur as his own son and he def wouldn’t abandon him, especially not with Heahmund there to remind him that his disability is not a flaw, that he doesn’t have to be special, a god, to be worthy of kindness and love and happiness. Anyway, Heahmund chooses Ivar, pledges his sword and fealty to him, now and forever, and reconciles this with his position as a warrior of god. Ivar has finally found the person who is true and chooses to be with him even after getting to know him, and even after seeing him at his weakest and worst. This has a very healing effect on Ivar and boosts his confidence in such a way that he no longer feels the need to rule his people with fear. He becomes a wise and just ruler, the people of Kattegat learn to accept and love him, and he lives with Heahmund happily ever after. The End. :)

@@oyuka360 I'm glad you like it! (Yes, we were robbed in 5B, sadly. Aww thanks
