I have noticed quite a few of these experts have passed, perhaps their collections have been auctioned which is quite ironic. at least one of them made it to 95
I've been watching this for years, but sometimes they make mistakes. The expert one time claimed a miniature walking stick was from the South Australia Mining Company and made in the late 1800's . But, sadly for that expert, and hilarious to me, he was wrong. It was made in 1984, in Hill End New South Wales Australia, by a 12 year old me. My whole 6th grade class made them. The SAM? My name is Sam - short for Samantha. I received a few phone calls from former classmates that night, and we all had a good giggle about it!
In Australia, we have not heard this information. Our programs are usually so far behind/ reruns that these presenters are still on. I will miss this group of treasures. Amazing knowledge and experience they had.
God bless you all. Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge and talents with all of us.

Hugh died 10 years ago!
Not a good post.
I was led to believe that more recent hosts had passed away.
Please remove this post before Ireport it.
