Thanks for this very helpful video. I just bought one of these vehicles and wanted to show a relative what it looks like on the interior and exterior. This is the best tour video of this car that I have seen, so I shared it to her.
I’m so glad it helped! My goal is to be as detailed and accurate as possible. Hours of research go in to these videos before they’re published! Thank you!
I have the 05 ultimate and its beast at 128k runs like a new car.always use premium gas and replace any part with ford original parts..engine and transmission are solid in this cars
@@HOTPLATEGAMING thats funny. Jaguar was owned by ford at the time. And Jaguar has never been known for their reliability. Actually reliability went way up after Ford bought them. Unfortunately Ford sold them to Tata Motors and quality is starting to drop again.
muy bonito carro pregunta km cuántos dólares vale un carro como ese modelo soy de Tamaulipas me podrias desir como cuántos dólares vale xke tengo ganas de cómprame uno asy como ese carro está muy bonito
I’m trying to figure out the same thing. From what I can tell, it completely depends on how it was maintained. They tend to have coil issues and a lot of the ones on the market are V8s. I buy cars like this for a few thousand and play with them for a while. I don’t beat on them, but I like to keep them for a couple of years and sell them for usually about what I get them for. There’s a 2005 not too far from me that has 140k, but the owner isn’t interested in selling. I haven’t seen him have any trouble with it in the last 3 years and he drives a lot.
I have a 2002 with 140k miles on it and it runs as smooth as butter. BUT the transmission failed on me multiple times causing my motor to fail. As long as you do your research on the car before you take a trip these cars are a wonder work. One of a kind that’s for sure.
I own a gen 1 W/180K on it and still love driving it.. Ive had the standard coolant and coil issues and learned a couple things. First dont buy cheap eBay coils, they are a waste of money, second is to join at least 1 Lincoln ls forum, the guys on the lincoln vs Cadillac forums and super knowledgeable and helpful, third is to buy O.E parts whenever possible and last is to set search alerts on the F.B marketplace and OfferUp for Lincoln ls and you can find super good deals.. I absolutely love my old LS
..... can you wrench? Do you have a second car? Otherwise, forget it. Just try and replace the injectors without cracking some of that unobtainable plastic.
i have a 2005 ultimate, with 136k. i have no problems no weird noises or anything. i do have to change coils around every 50k, if you run them with 87 gas youl need to change them out even sooner but that costs like 80 bucks
Perfect walkthrough. Clear concise. Everything someone that wants to know about the car but doesn’t have one to look at.
Love that car the best lincoln ls ever made the v8 sport from 2000
I wish they would’ve made a special edition with a cobra V8 and a manual transmission. That would’ve been a world beater.
+@raymondwodarski1192 Oh…that would be legit.

Great review with nice camera work. I have the 2004 LS V8 sport version. It was semi-rough when I bought it, but I'm enjoying restoring it.
This will be my next car

Engine and Transmission is solid because it wasn’t made by Ford.
@@HOTPLATEGAMING the v6 was made by ford actually
The cooling system in these cars are notoriously junk. All plastic thermostat housing and pipes. Prone to cracking. That being said I love these cars.

same i have a 05 ultimate. i was using 87 but realized 91 premium was the way to go
You forgot about the rear adjustable head rest. I love my 2003 Ceramic Pearl White LS with 86k org miles.
I literally own this car and I’m watching this 😂😭
Very nice car, I always want to own one.
This car would have been a Grand Slam if, and I mean IF it had one thing: All Wheel Drive at the start of it's production run.......
And a manual transmission with the V8. But I digress.
2003 seems to be a good car
It is I own one.
