I actually dislike the fact that both Marvel and DC have a trademark on the word "Superhero" as it has led to them taking legal actions against smaller publications for using the word. The way I see it, if your work and characters have inspired other writers and artist to try their hands at comic books, why take actions that make you look like your only interested in a bottom line? Comic books are a business, I get it, but I feel that actions like these help to stunt creativity and prevent a genre from evolving. Maybe there's an angle I'm not considering here, but that's just how I see it.

DC and Marvel thought ahead and new people would try to get around the trademark using that trick, hence why the trademark affects the term however you choose to spell it. There's all kinds of places you could go to look up the conditions and motivations for the trademark. And like I said before, I don't like the way it was handled.

One of my personal favorite stories is Rogue War. Essentially, the Rogues have divided into factions and are duking it out, and Flash is in the middle trying to be the referee. There's some fun time-bending mechanics, a cool twist ending, almost all of the Flash's villains make an appearance, and if you have any questions about the Flash's mythos, this story we answer all your questions.

I agree with all of those stories, although I've never read Flash of Two Worlds. I also adore Dastardly Death of the Rogues because it combines the writing of Johns and the art of my favourite guy, Francis Manapul. Also, the Rogues are just fantastic, colourful and genuinely interesting characters.
yo Arris WB has just announced that Ezra Miller will be playing the Flash and Jason Momoa is confirmed to be Aquaman in the DCCU. They've also revealed their movie line-up for the next 6 years which consists of 2016: Suicide Squad, 2017: Wonder Woman, Justice League (Part I), 2018: The Flash, Aquaman, 2019: Shazam, Justice League (Part II), 2020: Cyborg, and lastly a Green Lantern reboot. Batman and Superman are also getting new solo films but they dont have dates yet. Just thought I'd let yall know if you didnt already

Im not a comic book reader, but I like to hear about the stories of superheroes, thats why I suscribed to this channel, if I understood correctly, Flash´s storyline is responsable for introducing the multiverse, I didnt know that, thats pretty cool, I liked the Flash but learning these type of things made me gain more respect for the character.
I think personally the reason they used a Focal point on Flash is because he is one of the only Earthbound heroes that can actually break the Time/dimensional Barriers so He is the one that can fix something broken in time/space/dimension.

He's referred to as "The Dark Flash" because, while his costume is red, it is such a dark shade that it looks black except for the portions that are in direct light. The mystery was who this new Flash was, and there were clues in the story (such as Superman, Donna Troy, and Jay Garrick all immediately trusting him when he showed them his face [out of sight of the audience], that kept you guessing.
Not crazy about Flashpoint or Rebirth. Personally, my favorite Flash story is probably the first appearance of Impulse. What can I say? I just love Impulse.

Besides, bringing Barry back to be a lesser version of Wally would have been an insult to the silver age in general. All of the flashes, even Jesse Quick (for the short time that she was one,) should be respected for the stories that they have been in.
You should read the trial of the flash if you haven't already. Very we'll written story. It's hard to find a hard copy of but you can find it on comixology. It's like 12 issues long though.
