Wow, this video brings me back to 2020 when everyone was distanced.
I was on Kilimanjaro Safari in pouring rain and just as we were right in front of the Hippo pool, the truck in front of us went too fast and stalled out. We ended up being there for quite awhile. Usually the hippo’s are in the water, but because of the rain they were all standing on the ground wandering around. It was so cool to be there to just watch them at our leisure! Definitely one of my top ten experiences I have had at Disney World!!

Like the Jungle Cruise your guide can make or break your ride. This guide was great. The Safari is one of the best at the park. This was excellent 4K.

This was a terrific video, possibly my favorite attraction in Animal Kingdom in conjunction with the gorilla walk, which you covered in The Gorilla Falls Expedition Trail. There is. 4K, it is as though you received my vibes that I needed to see some animals (planned a zoo trip last weekend that got thwarted..admittedly by my decision to tutor a friend’s child to help prepare for an end of quarter test)…but…I needed to see animals!!
I was hoping for Parker, but you had a great guide! I love when they describe the habitats rather than strictly following the multi-week safari story narration. I really enjoy when the guide knows and shares more than the script about the animals…Yea!! Giraffe, Springbok, and Wildebeest!!! That one giraffe was curious about y’all…checking y’all out!! Loved hearing about about using bees to keep elephants away from crops…I do not remember hearing that on tours before (but my memory isn’t so good 😉) Cheeta!!! So glad you are so attentive to capture those (my favorite of the big cats!!). Great Safari!! Thank you, 4K for enduring the bumpy ride!! Go well, my friend!!
Oh wow, I guess we were on the same wavelength then 😉 This was I think the most active I’ve seen all the animals in one ride, it was beautiful! It must’ve been the cooler weather that made them so active, especially since it was pretty late in the day. Thanks so much Rick!! 😃

The Safari Vehicle drivers really have to keep on their toes, since we never are certain what we may encounter along the way.

🦓YAAY! We went to AK! 🦁This was a stellar guide!! 🦒Lucky you, that giraffe almost followed the tour 😍🦒 Based on what he said, now I know why I like them...besides height, I have some of their traits🙃These do have to be some of your best shots of some animals. Kudos to the mom who switched to put the kid in the middle - I do judge the unconscious ones. This made me so happy when I read the title, so thx 4 for enduring the bumpy ride again💜
I agree, I think this is now my favorite safari ride I’ve done yet! So many animals were sooo active, it must’ve been the cooler weather! And the guide did a phenomenal job, definitely one of my favorites in recent years. Thank you so much Liz! 😊

Went to Disney with people and the only thing I wanted to do was the safari. No one else wanted to go. I got them to walk through Animal Kingdom but they were into the food and lightly walking. I love the animals. Yes, I did Tron and other rides by myself but didn’t do the Safari. Going back in January and will definitely enjoy all that this has to offer. I live in nyc. The Bronx zoo is pretty incredible now with a zip line! Thank you for the video. Wonderful ride. Isn’t there a private tour. If so, I’m in! Cheaper than a trip to Nairobi. ❤️
It's a shame you didn't do the Safari when they were eating then meet up. IMHO. I'm sad you didn't get to do it but I always feel there's a way around to make all happy. Maybe next time.
There is an early morning hike you can book. I’ve never done it but now that the weather is cooler I’m ready to go!
This definitely isn’t the Bronx Zoo. Much cleaner, much nicer. And as a Long islander, I would do anything to avoid the Bronx Zoo.
@@CraigSiegel32 have you been there recently? They have beautiful spaces and focus on awareness about the environment and preserving species. It’s really beautiful. I did a special experience with the giraffes and the zip line! They offer vegan options in the cafe. I think the whole place should be vegan but the world isn’t connecting the dots. Maybe one day.
I’m so sorry you didn’t get to do it on your last trip, but definitely do it a few times if you can in January! I do know there are private tours you can do, I’ve never done them but they do sound amazing. Thanks so much for watching 😃
Not that there’s anything wrong with this attraction. But I also understand it’s 2023; but I liked the original storyline to this ride, where are you had to watch out for the poachers.
hello 4k wdw is Kilimanjaro safaris a good ride to go on at the animal kingdom and how long is the ride it for mine niece and nephew and both of them love animals
I’d say the ride is about 20 minutes long or so
