I believe gold is still one of the best heat reflectors, that's why the James Webb Space Telescope (which views in infrared) has gold plated beryllium primary mirrors.
As someone who owned a cavalier at one point, I promise your not missing much. If you get back to a z32, with square wheels and a 2.8 with a 5 speed..... It would be cool at radwood.... Butin reality they kinda sucked.

I’ve watched like two of these podcasts and I’m already shouting the theme song at the top of my lungs. As for Super GT, I love the idea of touring car /GT car racing like that. Just don’t have the attention span
i own a 94 cavalier got it with 72k on it for $800 best daily ever minus the ac issue but who even needs AC am i right? but fr best daily ive had for that price all ive had to do was change the spark plugs and the tires need replaced soon lol
Hold up. I've always wondered what auto insurerers think of their clients driving for Uber, but now I really want to know how tf you get auto insurance on your personal vehicle that you're listing on Turo.
I work for a gecko themed insurance company, long story short is you cant. You would need coverage directly through Turo which in the states that I typically deal with is through Traveler's Insurance. Insurance agrees to charge YOU and the people you allow to drive your vehicle, within reason. Turo allows literally anyone of any risk level to drive your car, which is not whats intended.
And as for rideshare, thats also obviously a big no no. Your car is meant for you to drive from point A to point B, a car that is being used to deliver goods or passengers for a fee is being driven a lot more than one just used for commuting. Therefore more risk, therefore most policies exclude rideshare and deliveries. Again, though, thats something you can get directly through Uber/Lyft/Doordash etc.
I enjoyed the episode the hosts always bring great energy and fun riffing but the actual script wasnt the best in this one. Road car facts mixed in with the race specs and jumping around between years that didn't make sense, it didn't read well out aloud and got confusing at times. Just constructive criticism from a well meaning fan, who ever wrote this episode needs to be a little more careful with fact checking and layout presentation just to keep things clear for listeners aside from that really enjoy the podcast.

There’s been so many unique and awe inspiring cars that have appeared in JGTC, but instead were given a spec sheet rundown on the McLaren F1 road car? Hate to say it but the mark was missed. Also James and the other guy need to chill with all the BS cause it’s not funny at all and I’d rather hear the story you’re trying to tell than your 1/10 comedy attempts.
