The last example in my opinion is pretty situational. It would work well in the scenario in this video, but it wouldn't work as well if someone already has one bar of meter. I don't remember where I heard this but something that could work well is always buffering the motion for your super, but only pressing the necessary button to activate it upon seeing your attack hit. This does take some good reaction time but with practice it's not extremely difficult.

There are moves where the cancel window is too small to hit confirm without using factors such as opponent movement (whiff punishing, checking dashes, etc). 3S Ken's c. MK is one of them as majority of players will not be able to raw hit confirm off of it. The last OS is useful for such moves.
Also, taking advantage of particular situations is the name of the game in fighting games. To be able to recognize these situations and take advantage of it separates good players from the rest.

@@SeaLeafDojo I understand what you're saying but what I'm saying is I picked up from someone buffering the super motion every time you do a certain normal like his mk so that you only have to press the kick to activate the super if you see it hit, rather than mk ok it hit let me try to squeeze in this super, if that makes any more sense. I'm not saying it's easy, but with a little practice in training on a bot set to random guard you can get it down fairly quickly (a day or two of serious practice)

@@SeaLeafDojo As far as the practicality of the situation, taking advantage of it is key and you're correct there, what I was trying to say is that specific situation occurring isn't frequent from what I've seen. You always have to build that first meter but after that it's not as effective

@@Ayyem93 I don't think you fully understand what I'm trying to say. There are moves that are generally too difficult (for most people) or outright impossible to hit confirm due to small cancel windows. I don't want to sound like a broken record so I'm going to stop here but if you ever get a chance, try to hit confirm with the Ken combo in the video.

@@SeaLeafDojo I understand perfectly what you're saying because I'm not a beast but I play Ken in 3S, his stand strong is equally as hard if not more difficult (it's a link not a cancel but same difficult window) and what helps me with that and his cMK is buffering the motion with the lever and if I see it hits, all I have to do is quickly piano the kick buttons. I'm not disagreeing that it's extremely difficult to cancel the kick on hit confirm, what I'm saying is always buffering the motion for your super whenever you press a button makes it a ton easier to cancel and link into super.

theres an article partially (but very obviously) based on this video on the playstation website, they use your crouch tech example as an intro in the same way & link to your video at the end. did you agree to that? if not it seems a little weird for the giant brand Playstation to get clicks partially off your video without asking.
