Bhaiya MBA's from even tier 2 colleges are getting 14-20lpa packages and they pretty much party all through their MBA, still everyone says they are preferred for finance roles as compared to CAs and that CAs mostly get accounting roles only. Can you please make a video about the market trends and opportunities for CAs?
MBA grads are 22-24 years old these days and have the security of getting the degree once they've got a decent college, but in CA the risk, efforts and sacrifice is very high. Do you think would it be better to do MBA after graduation instead of CA?

Hi, I know that CAs deserve more money, a lot more money, than they're given for the amount of hard work that they do. But I can't compare the salary packages of CA and all the other courses like CFA and MBA because I've only worked as a CA and only have a rough idea about what MBAs get offered.
For such comparisons, maybe @CAShivamPalan or @Careers360 can be of more help.
PS: I don't know if it counts under tier 2 or not, but I know what type of package a good college in Gurgaon can get you. And I know it to be less than what CAs get for that same role. There are a lot of MBAs working for 3.5 to 4 LPA. A LOT. And there are a lot of CAs working for 1 cr LPA or even more (maybe after adding another degree which isn't too tough after doing CA).
But I don't have all the statistics on this, so I don't want to misguide people. All I can say is that CA was worth it for me and if I wanted a high package salary, I could've gotten it in certain industries. I could've also enhanced my CV with CFA or MBA if a higher package was all I wanted.
None of those other degrees would, however, build my character the way CA did. That's more important to me since I'm in business now.
      I hope this helps.

And one more thing. If you compare the packages available to CAs who clear CA Final in the first attempt with those 14-20 LPA packages for tier 2 colleges, you'll be pleasantly surprised (If you're a CA student, of course).

Mba is only worth it if its from blacki or tier 1 clg and ur concern of 12-14lpa from tier 2 is genuine but how many of those will get opportunity nd that too of who is best in academic, did multiple projects nd have extra skill to offer
Nobody gives job on ur degree in corporate if u have skill then only u can survive

"The problem with people is that they always see things relatively. If we look at things in absolute terms, CA is a gold mine. However, people who don't want to put in the effort never get it. I am pursuing CMA. People often ask me, 'Why not CA?' and honestly, I don't have an answer. Why can't we just stop comparing?"

So anytime Professional Courses are better to pursue MBA is for Personality grooming.

Hello brother. Hope u r doing well. My name is Harshini and I'm a CA inter student from Chennai. I have completed B com accounting and finance from a prestigious college in Chennai and joined ca intermediate via the direct entry route in the new course. Last 2023 Aug month, I joined a very big coaching center (I don't wanna name it) and paid as a whole of 1.3L and they didn't even finish the portions and classes were completed only on the month of march. I had only one month for the may exam and I tried to prep only one group but I didn't give the exams this may due to a less time availability and lack of prep. Then I got classes from outside from good faculties and started prep for September exams but however I was very depressed due to wasting money and blew up the September exams too. It took many days for me to recover and I am now preparing group 1 for Jan attempt.
I just want an opinion from you brother. I feel like I missed an opportunity to work and study ca simultaneously as my college had great companies on campus interviews. I'll admit I took ca for the money and not because I was very keenly interested in it, I like the subjects in it but I don't have the die hard passion like many students have. I like finance and I am planning to do cfa but it's very costly so I thought I'll get a job and do it simultaneously and I have this lingering question of what if I don't clear it too because the financial loss will be even more great.
I want to work and study and I tried to apply for some jobs but my application was rejected every time as I don't have enough things in my resume. So I thought I'll finish at least ca inter and apply for a job in some finance field. Is this idea okay brother? I kind of lost a little interest in doing ca but I wasted so much of my mother's money and I just want to at least finish intermediate since it can make me get a job easier. But I'm not planning to drop ca intermediate even tho I lost a little interest in it?
Can u suggest me what to do I like finance but idk what to do in that field except for cfa? I really want to go to a job for at least some time after intermediate. I have decided to do some finance courses side by side and not drop work if I get one. But my first step is to clear inter sir. My main motive is to earn good money by doing some extra courses sir. Because my parents expect me to finish ca inter at least before I drop CA as a whole and I've no choice also.
I'm so sorry for the long message. I hope u can give me some solid advice and understand my situation. Thank you :)

Hi, yes he/she can. Introverts can also learn how to open up more and be more expressive. If you think any aspect of your behaviour needs improvement, you can work on it slowly and steadily.
Plus, there are different levels of being an introvert and social media makes even the most extroverted person feel like an introvert.

Hey sir, how are prospects of CPA in India, is there employability, do you see CPAs working in MNCs and big4s around you or your colleagues?
    Kindly answer sir 🙏

    • @CA_Apoorv_Singhal
      @CA_Apoorv_Singhal  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

CPA is American CA. So only companies like Deloitte USI which cater specifically to the US will offer you jobs, or maybe some other firms with decent exposure to the US. Or you could apply for jobs in the US - in this case H1B ki politics dekh lena.
US GAAP is different from all other accounting standards, so it's not highly compatible with other CA/CPA degrees like ACCA or CA which are based on IFRS.
In any case, doing CPA after CA is fairly easy and doing ACCA is even more so because almost everything is the same and you get an exemption from "mentorship" and 9 out of 13 subjects (in ACCA, not CA). CA Kushal Lodha did ACCA after CA and, if I remember correctly, he scored World Rank 2 or 3 in just 3 days of studies. That's the difference between Indian CA and all other CA/CPA degrees.

Thankyou sir for an answer. Means alot 🙏
Sir, not everyone can sustain & prosper in the rigorous and rigid environment which ICAI demands by making students read heavy pile of books which could weigh even more than their own weight, not everyone can sit through 4 modules of each subject in CA curriculum, it's not everyone's cup of tea. That's why people who can afford foreign courses are choosing them over Indian CA. I have personally decided to pursue CPA US, and the global delivery services section of all the big fours and US based MNCs offers jobs to US CPA. I have confirmed it with a few chartered accountants working in this field.
And asking your opinion is it a good choice if I want to pursue a career in GDS/USI section of big fours after completion of CPA? Are there opportunities as per your experience?
Your insight and guidance would be appreciated 🙏

@@ecstatic2265 I think you're making a good choice because yes, the pressure of CA is too much and it's not for everyone. CPA is a good degree to pursue.
And yes, you can also get a good career in GDS/USI with Indian CA (I think that's what you were asking). I have many CA friends in those companies/departments.

@@CA_Apoorv_Singhal no sir, I mistakenly wrote CA in place of CPA. That was a typo error on my part, apologies for misinterpretation and difficulty in comprehension on your part.
I wanted to ask is ‘CPA’ a good career option if I want to have a career in USI/GDS section of big fours and US based MNCs? Do CPAs have an edge in USI/GDS section over CAs in any form and manner? Or do they prefer to hire CAs only?
Sorry for the disturbance sir, but your opinion could be an aid to shape my career further, because my decision will highly be backed by suggestions of professionals which I'm gathering from everywhere by reaching them out. 🙏

Hi, I couldn't understand your question properly. I don't know what's the earning potential for CFA on a standalone basis or with CA since I never applied for a job as a CFA candidate or charter holder. But it will definitely be valuable in the Investment Banking and PE sector.
