    No mention of how to remove the cylinder in the instructions so I just needed to see 3:11- 3:13 (It was really tight and I didn't want to break it.)

    doesnt need grounding if its a plastic ghandle... its not like youre going to touch the red hot iron

    Hey, I have the exact same desolder pump. It was great, I was able to dissemble 2 keyboards with it. I took it apart to clean it but now when I try to use it, the sucking/recoil is not working well. Would you know why?

      My initial guess from the teardown would be that the seal around the plunger needs to be regreased. Is it just slow, or is it not moving correctly?

      @@breakallthethings thanks for the quick reply! I guess it’s kind of slow and not moving correctly. But you might be right, when I removed the rubber seal, it was moving correctly.

      @@notdinoboi5567 Yeah, that sounds about right. Grab some lithium grease, add it to the rubber seal, reinsert, and you should be good to go. I should have been doing that more often to my old one. :)
