I needed to learn the Lonesome Moonlight Waltz and found your video. This is my favorite of those I have found, and love your elegant playing.

You do a really nice job of playing tremolo on your double stops in this performance, Frank.

Great job, Frank. You’ve prompted me to add this Monroe classic to my ever growing list of tunes to learn. Btw…what
Pick are you using on the Pav4? (Yours, forever in search of a pick that is suitable for both picking notes and strumming chords…).

Thanks John! Mainy BC CT55 or a TAD-3R 45 The 45 when I want a soft touch, like on Are You Lonesome Tonight.

@@FrankDeLorenzoMANDOLIN Thanks v much Frank. I’ve mainly been using BC CT55 and TAD40 on mandolins…though I tend to use Dunlop maxi grip 0.60 or 0.73 on the Tenor and/or Octave Mandola. The BC seem to be the best material for gliding over the strings…BUT, and it may be an item in my recording system, I was thinking the hard material created a ‘tapping’ sound when hitting the strings… Anyway, keep up the great work…the extent of your production/publishing seems to have increased in recent months…

@@johnwilliamson6846 They do or can create that sound, it's tricky, but for me it's the glide.

I didn't know this was a Monroe tune. To me, it's a Frank tune now.
