This is my recording. I recorded this off of 97.9 in Phoenix when Korn premiered it. I recorded it with my mp3 player which had an awesome radio record feature, but it kept going in and out of stereo or something which is why the sound seems to drift back and forth. Your welcome, all 135,520+ of you :) The best thing ive ever done as a korn fan. Korn forever. This song deserved to be heard.
That's amazing I've been listening to this version throughout the years ever since you released it. Maybe we'll get the studio version one day if they ever release "Korn Kovers"
I must disagree with you. The harshness of this version completely takes away from the feeling of the original. It's their version to be sure; but in my opinion, this particular song is not suited to the sound that Korn is known for.
the fact that Korn being my favorite metal band covered this specific ass song just supports that theres like a soul connection within music, even across genres and cultures. it like lets you know other people see out of such similar eyes to your own
Hell yeah!! Korn is my favorite band, and this was one of my favorite 80s songs. And they definitely weren't playing around on this one. Understood the shit out of the assignment!! Hahahaha
Idk if you remember Korn were playing with the idea of a covers album. It got scrapped officially at one point, but I think has been off and on since the mid 00s. This one and Faith No More's "We Care A Lot" were slated to be on there.
I think Richard and Tim would be proud. Korn should reintroduce a few more Psychedelic Furs songs. Seriously brilliant. I wasnt even going to listen to it then completely blown away.
Original was brilliant. So is this, a totally new and lushly arranged take with beautiful vocal work (esp. at end). I have heard many other covers and this tops them all by far, outstanding and stands on its own. Might start listening to Korn more.
There's currently talk of a 'Kovers' album and Jonathan said this was his favourite cover they have worked on so 🤞 they being out the album and put this on it
Sunflowerhuman there’s been talk of ‘Korn Kovers’ since before David left, possibly before Head left (memory’s a little hazy) so it’s been in the works for a long-ass time! I really hope they get to put it out soon!
It's called a cover for a reason people. They out their own little twist (no pun intended) into it so it can sound more like them and less like the original band PF....Enjoy the song or just don't listen it's that easy
I love Korn... they just do what they want well.. and bring it all live... totally maligned by people, meanwhile they continued selling records when no one else could...
"Love My Way" There's an army on the dance floor It's a fashion with a gun, my love In a room without a door A kiss is not enough in Love my way, it's a new road I follow where my mind goes They'd put us on a railroad They'd dearly make us pay For laughing in their faces And making it our way There's emptiness behind their eyes There's dust in all their hearts They just want to steal us all And take us all apart But not in Love my way, it's a new road I follow where my mind goes Love my way, it's a new road I follow where my mind goes Love my way, it's a new road I follow where my mind goes So swallow all your tears, my love And put on your new face You can never win or lose If you don't run the race Yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah Ah-hoo Ah-hoo Ah-hoo Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh
It's been 15+ years. Sadly I don't think it'll ever see the light of day. Would be awesome because there is a Morbid Angel cover that was supposed to be on it too. And they re-did the cover of Faith No More's We Care A Lot for a magazine comp a few years back
I never knew this cover existed till today. Thought went I heard it, that I would trash it. But, Korn did great to keep the song close to the original.
awesome music,iv'e been listening to the band almost daily since 1994,im now 27,i just cant help it there music is so damb refined and addictive to listen to.
Damn!!! Wow!! Awesome!!! Amazing!!! I was just looking for covers for one of my favorite Psychedelic Furs songs and saw Korn made one. It could only be great if they made this!!
I was doing the same as you...I wasn't even going to listen to it...took a chance and personally believe they should cover The Furs greatest hits album. Hey...Chino Moreno been killing New Wave the last 30 years too.
esse álbum nunca saiu ,e teve só 2 musicas lançadas (ou vazadas) , essa ai , e a fight the power que veio no àlbum da trilha sonora do 2 filme do triplo x
I remember hearing this on 97.9 in Phoenix--they were doing a promo appearance for the Family Values tour. Fitz was watching some music sharing site and the song showed up 5 minutes after they played it on the radio, LOL.
i look at is as every band changed their style that was popular in the 90's to what people like in the 00's. If you think about , an album like Korn and life is peachy wouldnt sell that great today, I mean i'd buy it and all other Korn fans, but to be successful they have to listen to fans' advice. And most people agree their new stuff sounds awesome. I love everything Korn's done, and another album like Follow the Leader would be sick.
@henriettajonas You are completely right, I think the problem that Korn had with Welch leaving particularly Munky was the way he left. You know he pretty much just left cold turkey without telling them what was going on and they tried to contact him and he didn't return any calls or talk to them about what he was doing. Of course Munky took this the hardest because they were the closest. Other than that I don't think they have a problem with his reasoning on why he left.
@iPadReviewing "Making the whole band suck." Quite a bold statement right there, friend. I personally, still quite like the band very much, I don't believe they "Suck" because one of the band members left, they changed, yes, but not necessarily for the worse.
@acooper37 Hey buddy sorry it took me so long to respond! yeah i love untouchables a ton!!!! untouchables and issues are in my top 5... i also really like SYOTOS cuz that was my first one. i like follow the leader a ton too but wish it had a littke more variety. The self titled is on a WHOLE different level, and Life is Peachy is just a classic!!
@acooper37 yeah same here man! I really liked the experimental aspects of syotos and untitled, and at first i was a little dissapointed with Korn 3, but man did it grow on me! it might be my fav album now. They brought back that incredibely raw and gritty feel while still making new and interesting music. Im so pumped for the new album too, with the dubstep and stuff it should be great. Its sweet how they can evolve so well!! Whats your favorite album?
@henriettajonas Oh yea, I most definitely bought Korn 3, I had pre-ordered, I like the album, you know People wanted that dirty raw sound back and they got it, even though I love the Untitled album too. I really enjoyed most of the songs on there. I'm ready for the next album, I love how Korn's music is always evolving. As long as Johnathan is singing I'll be listening to them, and I love Munky on guitar and Fieldy on bass. How did you like the album?
@DarknessIncarnate02 this is very much true and JD's weight really doesnt have anything to do with this but i thought id add it in. Him losing his weight is good to hear but in my own opinion, every other album is the best all together.
because its korn everything is awesome with them i mean like if they would have done the same kind of music as they do now if david and head didnt leave
@Pr3dat0r5000 he was once a part of KoRn, even though he isn't anymore he's still my inspiration. he's still a part of KoRn and i think a little bit of KoRn might be in him still in my mind and will always be a part of every loyalist. ya know?
its hard to tell if korn got better or worse u really gotta think what they woulda been if head and david didnt leave in my opinion korn right now is pretty good

AYYYYE, 98 KUPD!!! Their morning show is legit the best shit too, the best way to wake up on a morning day of az
can you maybe record it again and see if the mp3 player wont go in and out of the studio
That's amazing I've been listening to this version throughout the years ever since you released it. Maybe we'll get the studio version one day if they ever release "Korn Kovers"
I never knew they covered this. Have to say they've done it extremely well, kept close enough to original and with an unmistakable Korn sound.
Andy P it just didn’t make it to any of their records. I thought it was rad.
I must disagree with you. The harshness of this version completely takes away from the feeling of the original. It's their version to be sure; but in my opinion, this particular song is not suited to the sound that Korn is known for.
It’s not the same their both different

@@Lunatic4Bizcasabsolutely spoken like a Korn fan, I thought the same way Bro

Jon's voice in this song is fucking addicting....
The way he's hitting that cooing towards the end 🔥🔥
No words
Man, I wish for this song to get an official release! It's very beautiful.

Thats what i’m saying, i agree. Richard and Tim would be proud, they should introduce more TPF songs
Get chills every time that breakdown plays. Been obsessed with this cover since I was a kid!
I cant explain the happy this brings
Goldie Rodriguez me too
You alive
I'm in love with the original, but I also love Korn, very very awesome cover.
Look up the cover by a band called Crushed. It's phenomenal.

John loves his 80's Goth...their diverse influences make them awesome...this is some great stuff
Korn should Release this with better audio quality.
true ay!

Wow, honourable and truly respectful version to an all-time classic by The PFURS.
The duality of this nostalgia is immensely tearing away the walls of my reality with the help of the circumstances from my existence.
"Love My Way"
There's an army on the dance floor
It's a fashion with a gun, my love
In a room without a door
A kiss is not enough in
Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes
They'd put us on a railroad
They'd dearly make us pay
For laughing in their faces
And making it our way
There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all
And take us all apart
But not in
Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes
Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes
Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes
So swallow all your tears, my love
And put on your new face
You can never win or lose
If you don't run the race
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Ah-hoo
Ah-hoo
Ah-hoo
Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh
Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh
Thanks for the lyrics
This is a gem!
Jon said in an interview that this was his favourite cover they have worked on. So fingers crossed if the kovers album comes out this will be on it
Good. It's my favourite too along with Kidnap the Sandy Claws

This is awesome, thx for posting.
Listen to Korn’s is a great way to lose myself. That’s why I don’t do drugs.
And the “Spiderman, Out of Fucking Nowhere,” award for best surprise of the day goes to... Korn!
For anyone curious, this was originally a 'Psychedelic Furs' song from the 80's. Not a bad cover.
Such a great cover and yet it's nowhere.

¡ Impossivel ! A versão original e muito melhor e inigualable.
