Because she loves them that much. Even when he moved on she still watched over them. Imagine being that close to the ones you love and they can't even see you, talk to you, hug you. It must have been painful for her. To watch your place being taken by someone new. A family that was yours that you should have been allowed to have in the first place. When she came back to life which should have been a miracle. She couldn't even return to her family. She is now in the picture but it's not the same. Her own daughter doesnt know who her real mom is. Her Husband is torn because he still loves her. Everyone loves yuri and wants her to continue living. But she would rather die. Then to hurt the ones she loves. She would rather be distant and In pain than to break up a marriage and family that was once hers. Because she loves her husband and her daughter that much. That she is willing to sacrifice her own life again for their happiness. If that isnt pure, selfless love. I don't know what is. She deserves better than this. Fate was cruel to her. If she would have never died. She would be with her husband right now, with her daughter. Yuri loves her daughter more than anything. Yuri deserves her happy ending :(
the most heartbreaking part for me is yuri saying "thank you for loving me when i'm with you". she's clearly know that ganghwa didnt love her anymore.. :')

this is my fifth hi bye mama fmv (and yes, i watched them consecutively), but this was the one that actually had me sobbing and my tears continuously falling. my face is wet and my heart's shattered to pieces. i hurt for all of the characters. i always wished the part when they showed what could've happened if yuri chose to just go home last minute and missed the car became the reality and not just a mere ‘what if’, because that way, everyone would've been in a much happier place.

I still find it so selfish of you for giving up her life for her child and the rest of her family suffered of her lost...as she said my life is not only mine.....if you have to do die and have to choose again which one would you choose? I think the drama show answers..for me yes I am a mother but I can't give up my life because I have so many people that relied on me I must live them too...I can still have another child but I only have 1 life...think about it what if Yuri chose her child and end up to disable(worst case) wouldn't it be unfair to husband?raising a child like that and his life would stop for sure..it's just not fair...in the end Yuri was given no choice her daughter will see ghost forever if she she stay..I think the writter give us the worst choice that leave her no choice..sigh
