You did good for 2023! Sometimes we just can’t get to everything. I still keep putting off trying Red Rising.
I still read a lot of books, so definitely not feeling bad about it. Other than a couple of these (Beowulf, etc) I don’t mind not having gotten to them yet.

I’m afraid to go through my tbrs from last year and see how many of the books I did not read. Your list is actually very manageable, I know for certain mine would not be haha. Also I hope you enjoy Beowulf, it’s a favorite of mine.

Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle is great, imo. I've read it at least 4 -5 times, although it's probably been close to 20 years since the last time.

Red Rising was excellent. It was a little too violent for me, but I have a hard time with too much violence. I don’t think it was excessive for the average reader.
Violence doesn’t usually bother me in books. So since you say it’s excellent other than that, I’ll trust you. Hopefully I’ll be able to read it soon.
