I have it for a couple of weeks. Feed it with good recordings, good digital to analogue conversation and good amplification, it will reward you with amazing sonic performance.
So would you say these are better than the Aful Explorer? I'm super torn between these two and wanted to pull the trigger on them since the Truthear REDS have enormous nozzles that are too painful for me.
Short answer is yes, especially with EQ the P7 is amazing. Though for ~$100 USD the Explorer is damn good and will always have a place in my collection.
I love bass and bought a Deuce. It does make your heart thump faster in certain genres, but I was deeply disappointed in how it bloats the mids. I thought Fatfreq had figured that out. Any alternatives to get me to that state where you still get might bass but not at the expense of bloating, or is this wishful thinking?
HEY CHONK ... I'm looking for my first IEM ..The budget is anywhere between 75-120 dollars...Need something that has a Balanced clear sound with good vocals and just the right bass ...NO GAMING USAGE ...Also want something with less QC issues .. Would appreciate if you can give 2-3 suggestions in my budget
Went to an audio shop with the intention to get the EPZ P50, liked it but got curious with other iems on demo and stumbled upon the 5+2 and then… I couldn’t put it down. Sure the mod treble has some odd, somewhat unnatural tone sometimes but it sounds just so captivating and sweet making the P50 dull by comparison. Then again both have vastly different sound signatures and I still liked the P50 for being inoffensive (like SM4) but that particular track I drove all night from Cyndi Lauper which has rather bad recording quality, the P50 sounded awful! So the final decision was easy: the not awful at all Aful!
I was looking forward to your review. Thanks 👍🏻

The Explorer sounds a lot like the P7 but less airy with details.
Just get the Explorer and an affordable planar with the difference in price.
@@DrinkWater713 You will like it. 😊
@@Sweetaccord Sorry, what?
awesome. this one was something I had in my radar for a while
Great review Kenneth, P5+2 is something that has been in my collection ever since its launch
It would be interesting to see how the upcoming md meteor stacks up against the performer 7
Thanks for the review. Which eartips did you use? The ones that came with it or do you have any other suggestions?

It's named P7 😊. Your review is really late. It was released last year and already reviewed by others with great praise.
Kenneth, thank you for another wonderful review! 👌
