Yes your police character certificate would be accepted provided you live in the UK currently and for the IELTS, if you’re applying from the UK, I doubt you’d be asked for an English test

IELTS isn’t compulsory in order to get an offer here in Ireland but the UKVI for the UK wouldn’t work for Ireland.
