Most every AI video talks about "Important privacy issues and concerns". Am I the only one who looks at history and looks ahead and feels that when this tech is deployed all the companies will completely disregard privacy? We have no privacy, never have.

What do you mean "when this tech is deployed"? The tech has already been deployed. 😅 You've not yet noticed thinking about an obscure product category (and not speaking about it out loud) only to soon find advertisements of products associated with that very same product category in your news feed? Welcome, my friend, to the matrix or singularity, or whatever..😅😅😅

I'm heavily conflicted! On one hand this is mind blowing. On the other I'll stay away from tech controlling my physical functions. That's already being used on a stupid level.

They may read ones mind, but truth lies in the observation and perception and no amount of brain waves can tell you that.

i dont think ai can read your mind per se. besides, the name pyramidal speaks volumes.
just do not believe it can read your minds.
they can use it to collect a whole lot of data on you and make some tables about usual problems, reactions etc.
but...they still cant solve random numericals...and they never will.

Our phones can already read our minds. You can just be THINKING about something and it’ll pop up on your screen soon after. You don’t have to type it and you don’t have to speak it out loud for it to detect your thoughts. In 10-20 years this will all be common knowledge.

So neuroplasticity is not a problem. Alcohol consumption or smoking is not a problem. Brain Haemorrhage is not a problem. No aging problems. Plus all the nanotube and quantum effects not a problem. Also they say body does a part of the processing which also undergoes change. I guess we are not there yet.

Im all for Ai and its potential, BUT….it entering my brain is a no go. Most worrying is password and pin passwords protections. For example bank accounts. If Im going to be ‘force consent”, I would like someone to think up new ways passwords, that doesn't require one to use their brain. Example could be finger scanning, becoming the new basic password protections. Facial scanning will be useless because with Ai facial recognition, it could be bypass just like that.

Reading "data" (electr. pulses) from a brain and interpreting them are 2 complete different things! Still, only the particular person will KNOW, what's the meaning of his/her thoughts are. There are so many levels of consciousness and fantasies, besides instincts and just feelings, that it's impossible to get there, just with some electrodes and "THE Holy AI". ;)

What if consistent use of rfid or eeg is the cause of cognitive trauma, sleep disturbances, etc? Remember those ads for dont be too close to the tv or tablet/limit use and now its 24/7 in you, not on you? It would be too invasive imo plus those interpreting the data can abuse it if you invent something or if you have a single thought they dont like.

If the distribution is to be this widespread, abuse and misapplication is likely. Over confidence in these results may prove to be a real problem, since not all brain states are healthy which could lead to horrible thoughts. If published, the consequences could be dire for civilized society. Fleeting thoughts could be taken as true objectives or feelings, when this not intended at all.

How in the hell will you have any fear of something made by man to do it. We have dominion over anything on this earth. How would AI stand up if we set off an EMP
