I discovered this song in the end of 2017, used to listen to it all the time. I met a girl around that time, too. We had a big argument, she blocked me on social medias, and so did I. I couldn't stop listening to this song the first few months, I put it on loop whenever I felt the need to curl up in my bed and cry over her, what we had, what we lost. I used to listen to it so often because it reminded of our situation, of her mostly. And suddenly, one day, although I couldn't stand even listening to it anymore, I had never deleted it from my library, but I would skip it as soon as it popped up. Unintentionally, I wanted to move on and was ready to move on, to forget her. We had a few friends in common though, so it was really hard for us to forget about each other. And then, in the beginning of January 2019, she reached out to me, apologized for shit she did, and those apologies were all that I wanted during this hell of a year, I prayed that I would get them the first few months, and then I lost hope, that was when I started moving on. However, yes, she apologized to me, and two days ago it would have been 1 year since we had that big fight that drove me back into depression. However, instead of crying of sadness, we spent that day crying of relief, talking about the whole fight, what happened, why it happened and everything. We made up and the closest friend I have ever had was back into my life, I missed and love her so so so so so much, it shouldn't be allowed. We decided that we would not let anyone or anything separate us again, she will always be my priority from now on, because I can't allow to lose her ever again, my entire being couldn't stand it. Anyway, here I am, listening for this song for the first time after a -really, really shitty- year. It has such a deep meaning to me, the tears on my face are not of sadness anymore, they are of relief. I missed it almost as much as I missed my friend.
