I have bought me the black one. The long battery life makes it to a really useful smart watch. This smart watch is really a game changer. Now it is clear why the US government prohibited to sell it in the US.🙂
i got my blue one yesterday , sold my samsung watch 5 pro , i love the huawei , i while ago i owned the huawei gt2 pro and that was great to me the battery length matters a lot . the huawei ultimate is special and as soon as i saw it i loved it it feels like a high quality watch , i tried on a tag connect and it easy as good ( think it looks better ) i do have good size wrists , the tag would dream of that battery life , the only little gripe i have is no out of the box remote software on the watch for taking remote pictures with smartphone , have seen on some videos the watch has this function , maybe the uk model is different ? the only way is in the app store download camera opus then put the opus app on your smartphone then you only get basic features , you have to pay extra for the rest , i paid and was rubbish .... evertime i look at it , it feels special not some cheap looking black plastic looking smartwatch with a cheap rubber strap like most on the market ...
I own the black version and doesn' look so big as this one most because have no bracelett!Comparing with my old Galaxy Watch 5 Pro this is bigger but look very luxurious and solid as a tank with quality materials, amazing watch faces! This is a proper watch to go out,not a children toy as a Apple Watch or Samsung!Still not an amazing software as Samsung ,Apple but amazing look, stylish and amazing battery life!
I really like the watch face at the beginning. Under what name and where should I look for it to download. I couldn't find it in the Huwei Health app. Thanks to anyone for the info.
you made up my mind, I bought the blue bezel version with the Titanium strap. Beautiful and a massive saving over the Tag I was going to buy even with the £550GBP trade-in on my old Tag.
Excellent review and having had smartwatches for over 6 years before going back to real watches, I'm quite impressed by the look and build quality. I do think that this watch becoming obsolete in 5 to 10 years is very optimistic however. Support for mobile phones and smartwatches doesn't extend beyond 3 years except for possibly Apple so I totally agree that these things have obsolescence built in. A hybrid such as the G-Shock GWG-2000 with lots of options is probably a more sustainable option and with solar power no need to think about charging. There are other watches too that might be even better in this area. I still have the last smartwatch I bought, a Samsung Watch Active 2, no longer supported of course, but I use it only on the rowing machine and to time laps in the pool. However a cheap fitbit could do that too. I do think that this will be very successful though as it's the best looking smartwatch I've ever seen. Thanks for the review.
Warning: There is no warranty if you move to another continent. My first dive in the Philippines was 15 meters, and my watch died. The watch was less than 6 months old. Huawei Philippines was not providing me any other solution. Back in Spain the warranty replaced my watch, already the second time it broke doing freediving in less than 20m, it seems to be because I also do kitesurfing.
Regrettably, I made the purchase of the watch, but it experienced water leaked after only a year of usage. In my opinion, some materials are not appropriate for diving activities.
I had actually looked at this watch as I use a smartwatch for work and hate the nightly charges of my samsung. Hadn't realised it was so ridiculously massive. Still a nice looking smartwatch if they could just scale it down 4mm without sacrificing the battery.
Looks like how I'd look when I was 9 years old trying to wear my dad's watch. Too comically big, and attracts attention in all the wrong way. Love the styling and design, but still too ben10-ney.
And you have privacy with Google? And about apple remember when apple cloud protected the nude pictures of celebrities?? I will never see avril Lavigne the same
Theres allot that works with or you can put on the watch but ONLY in China. I have the older one and in the US no watch faces but running it on their tablet their Chinese app.. WOW so much more that the US EU never gets. So its not worth it., Really? This company has a history and fact they have changed or said story or stopped anything. SO many reviewing this never say a word.

@parasiteparisyup
long life battery is not available technology for apple
i got my blue one yesterday , sold my samsung watch 5 pro ,
i love the huawei , i while ago i owned the huawei gt2 pro
and that was great to me the battery length matters a lot .
the huawei ultimate is special and as soon as i saw it i loved it
it feels like a high quality watch , i tried on a tag connect
and it easy as good ( think it looks better ) i do have good
size wrists , the tag would dream of that battery life ,
the only little gripe i have is no out of the box remote
software on the watch for taking remote pictures with
smartphone , have seen on some videos the watch
has this function , maybe the uk model is different ?
the only way is in the app store download camera opus
then put the opus app on your smartphone then you
only get basic features , you have to pay extra for the
rest , i paid and was rubbish ....
evertime i look at it , it feels special not some cheap
looking black plastic looking smartwatch with a cheap
rubber strap like most on the market ...
I have bought in the beginning of June. One months later it has died in a scuba diving while I was 27 meters deep. Now I am trying to return it.
What happened after?

Huawei is a Awesome maker for sure and according to my personal experience so far. 👍
What a beast 😮 it is massive though but damn it's the best I have seen as of yet

Great narration ❤
Thanks 😊

Fuck apple bro real talk they a rip off😅
Well, you gotta love that seconds hand hitting every marker dead on! 😂
😂😂😂👍
Remember that this is a Sports Watch, while it is Beautiful and Rugged.
puedes congelarlo y luego hervirlo en agua caliente???
Got a huawei laptop, tablet, phone and GT2 ...will upgrade to Ultimate soo
I would like one for diving purposes as well
That thing is absurdly, comically big. If it were smaller it would be one of the best looking smart watches imo, if not the best.
That bezel gives me seamaster vibe 😂

NFC?!!!
It’s huge. What about people with small wrists. They should come out with smaller versions.
Regrettably, I made the purchase of the watch, but it experienced water leaked after only a year of usage.

You can get the Huawei watch GT pro, it is smaller but has 90 % of the same features, and much of the same look
@@rodgrod1999The GT Pro doesn't look as good as this one. I hope Huawei will trim down the case size for the next release of the Ultimate
The case is too much I think,I’ve got the same watch except it’s smaller and black stainless steel with a black rubber strap.
Such a waste of premium materials for something that will eventually die because of the battery.
even before that it will die because of lack of support from Hauwei Health app.
This watch is made of Lquidmetal which is Stronger than Tanium
@ 2:26 designers have either no taste or completely lack imagination. Its not comical, actually its sad.

For 900 USD you can buy 1 or even 2 proper watches, which will serve you for years and years.
It does look like you’re wearing your dad’s watch…😄
Nice - but large - piece of hardware. That said, everything labelled Huawei raises the inevitable question of data privacy.
Who told you that? Trump?
@@ariffossomotte7012 common sense along with decades of information security and intelligence data
I am sure Beijing will not find my data very interesting.

I have a apple watch it will be my last one.
Looks like a watch for a 12 year old girl
thats the thing with smart watches, after a year it will be outdated as a new version will come out
I still don't see point of using smart watch 😛 I stay with my GSHOCKS and mostly use GBD H1000 😎
hope you sell it well and buy a real watch ;)
👎
just an apple interface copy.. typical Chinese. and the size.. pfff its to huge for everybody except Arnold Swarschnegger
