I've known perpetually negative people like Kenny, who think they're being helpful by pointing out anything bad. The best thing to do is just agree with them halfheartedly then watch them either: (1) be pleased because they think someone's as miserable as them or (2) start backtracking & attempting to put a positive spin on the negative thing they just said.
