Muchos Kaoss! Korg's Kaoss Pad and Kaossilator revolution

  • Every so often, a new invention comes along that redefines synthesizing. Korg's Kaoss technology is a classic example, even though it's proven to be limited in many ways since its entry to the market.
    I've owned most of the Kaoss Pad/Kaossilator variants, and this is what they have taught me.

    Yep, ya sure covered them all. I own all but the KP2, KP1 and the Korg Kaoss Pad Quad. What I do already have kind of covers what I don't have. I'd rather noodle around with my full blown synths though.

    I have bought Every Korg Product that has a kaoss Pad....a Sickness I am Happy there is No Cure for ....and only one..... the Kaoss Replay ...I have refused to Buy....for the Outrageous Price!!!!!

      Yeah I’ve seen that one - and yes it does seem outrageously expensive… I’ll get one eventually I guess

    You're right about the app. For some reason, it's not the same as the hardware, (I have the original kaossilator and the mini kp) even though it has multiple tracks you can mute and solo.

      Yep. I should point out though it’s pretty good for the $18 or whatever it is they’re charging for the app :-)
