    I recently obtained a Shure ULXP4 receiver with a Shure ULX1-J1 wireless bodypack and a Shure ULX2-J1 SM58 microphone. With all three units powered on and set to the same channel and the same group, I am not receiving any of the lights on the RF or TX Audio indicators on the front of the receiver when sound is delivered into the microphone. The Output on the back of the receiver is set to "Mic" and both A and B antennas are attached. Can you please tell me if I am missing anything? Does there perhaps need to be anything plugged into the AUX High Z or the Balanced Low Z port on the back of the receiver to get the lights on the RF and TX Audio indicators? I appreciate any feedback or help.

    Recently got my hands on a ULXS4 and a ULX1-G3, but they don't seem to register one another when set to the same groups/channels. the MHz ranges are 554-590 on the receiver and 470-506 on the transmitter. Is this a problem? To the best of my knowledge, they were used alongside each other for a few years, but I may be wrong.
    Thanks!

      They need to be set to the same frequency range or within a compatible range. In this case, the frequency ranges of the two devices do not overlap, which is likely why they are not registering with each other.

    how do I connect it to a pedalboard?

    • @MichaelD8393
      @MichaelD8393 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just plug a guitar cable from your pedalboard into the quarter inch output on the receiver.

      @Lachlan Revolver Run a cable from the output of the receiver to the input of the first pedal on the board.

      @Lachlan Revolver Yup, after you connect the receiver, the signal; is carried through the pedals and to the amp from the output of the last pedal. Or if your amp has an effects loop, just plug the receiver into the amp and run the pedalboard through the loop.

    I have a problem with my ULXS and ULXP model receivers. They are both consistently have dropout signals every 5 seconds. What should be the problem?
