love the change of seats like this in a stadium, adds something extra to it rather than grey seating. I'd be up for the adidas arena too given the aspirations of the owners, it will always be SJP but i wish they announced a new stadium and that was the name instead

No issue at all renaming the stadium to bring in the £. I trust the owners to put good use to that money. Different to Mike Cashley doing so to fill his own pockets.

We've been through renaming our stadium before. It was terrible. It should be called St James' Park FOREVERMORE.

@@gruffy4967 When the sponsorship deal ends the stadium would take another sponsors name. Happens all the time. Stoke did it when they left the victoria ground to move into there brand new stadium. Was called the Britannia Stadium and now its the Bet365 Stadium. My point was you shouldnt give old stadiums sponsors names. Should be reserved for new stadiums that have no history.
You sell it to the next sponser when the deal runs out. Not rocket science. That's how every American stadium works.

Adidas have been pissing me off with the slow release of the away shirt, not getting the old Adidas logo on the 3rd shirt and the fact the LFSTLR clothing still hasn't been released.
And the shitty collar on the neck of the 'fan version'of the home shirt. Adidas have actually released a 80 quid football top that that looks like a shitty fake of what the players wear.
