England has been hit by storm Babet. So i went for a walk around Sherwood forrest because the ground is soaked and perfect for mushrooms. I went into the thick of it, and i found all sorts of deep red ones, bright purple ones, clusters of orange and white, all different shapes and sizes, fallen trees conqured by the fungi, home to the birds no more. This music takes me right back to it, making me feel like a wondering wizard looking for ingredients for a magic potion.
This one really is hauntingly beautiful. A world that's dark and cold and falling apart. Old heroes are dead or secluded away. Common people are too afraid to stand up to evil. All hope feels lost.
The atmospheric, dark sounds that float throughout the album fit well with the autumn/winter aura. Despite the depressing tone, it encourages calm rather than despair.
Played minecraft at the moment and got into moss caves. Stillness and yet subtle movement of "moss rain" with the music gave this suffocating atmosphere, when every tiny bit of rock and dirt is telling a story
This is one of my favorite DS albums I’ve listened to by far I just can’t help but to get taken away by its haunting melodies like wind in caverns or the echos of forgotten knights standing atop mountains slaying dragons in a raging blizzard 10/10 album for me personally
A world that we don't remember living in, but which remains familiar. An ancient hermit wizard praying for wisdom, as if he still needed it. A cruel fate coming.
The brooding and wistful atmospheres presented here are as the torn out roots of the genre's darker, melancholic origins. A refreshing and profound contrast amidst an ocean of utterly forgettable and painfully cheery fantasy synth.

Wow, this is cool stuff... I would like to message the keeper of this archive, having made similarish kind of music he/she/them are putting out, but couldn't find how I could do it.

long live Sacred Britannia
Will be full of African witch doctors soon enough :D
Ah yes I love participating in D&D
(Dungeon Synth and Disassociation)
Thank you for this comment. Made my Depression somehow better from laughing.
This one is a keeper. It's really got a hold on me like the first time I heard Aindulmedir, Elffor or Weeping Moon.
Same

This slowly became my number 1 DS/DA album.
I do tego z Polski 🙂
Some of the best dungeon synth I've heard in recent years, I really like it

Dark and beautiful! Really fits the vibe of autumn. 🍂
Awesome album thanks for sharing 💀🕯️👍🏻

Definitely some darker winter vibes on “Foraging” imo.
Brilliant album, meshes with the artwork nicely too.

Glad someone else experiences the same thing when they listen to dungeon synth. Just getting lost in other mystical mythical worlds

One of the best in this year. Thank you!)
The art on those is so cool. And the music is gold
one of my fav dungeon synth albums

uuuuuuh, great quality! thanks for the upload! :)
yeah, this is something else. Feels like Vindkaldr. Different, but same quality. I love it.
Sublime
Oh that first track, set the soundscape perfectly! An excellent album by Nocmar.
This makes you feel like an involuntary inhabitant of a dungeon.
Where the torture never stops
Wow that first one is something else. It's like agony, pain and cries all at once but beautifully done. A true masterpiece❤
Great music! Love it!
Someone need to make a free website of "dark ambient"/ "dungeon synth" art work!
Very reminiscent of Nortfalke - Moonjeie.
And just like Nortfalke - Moonjeie, I've constantly come back to it.
Depressing, I mean this as a compliment
i'm here, listening to this, playing DungeonAI.... life's good
Nice painting

where do you see dungeon synth?
Didn't this stuff used to be called New Age? 😂
By that logic, you could just call out practically any genre of music.
I think it's too dark and eerie to be labelled "new age".
@@SalvoColliyeah, what was the op smoking?
Not the best, but maybe i just don't like the dull monotonous ambient stuff
No Dungeon Synth here. Bullshit
😭😢
So chill! Let’s be friends?
