There are some good looking sheds there size wise. I just started last weekend as well the snow up here in the high altitudes of AZ is still deep really deep in places, hard to get in the woods but some how came out one day with a set of browns weighing nine pounds each.
It was a nice evening, except for the skunk that walked 6’ from my bed that night. He must have sprayed a little when I spooked him, cause I smelled it on me the next morning.
Great job finding some nice antler bull drops! It is to bad you don’t carry a little folding brush saw to cut off some good pieces of the two you thru back on the ground. I would like to purchase some straight 1 or 1 1/4 x 6 piece if you ever cut them up to sell. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome adventure with some decent reward! I went for my inaugural hike last weekend into a new area figuring it would be good to get in shape and explore, not expecting much. Came out with 13 elk antlers and 2 deer antlers, pushing 100 pounds total! Nothing like punishing yourself for being out of shape. Thank goodness it was downhill (3 miles) back to the truck or it would have been stash time. As always, thanks for sharing!
I’m a very minimalistic camper and hiker. I take very little food and extra gear. Less weight the better for the pack out. I bring some water and a few snacks and always have a water filter so I can have water for the return trip.

Rogue Outdoorsmen man you sure do. Fire starter, Small first aid kit, whistle, emergency blanket, electrolytes, snacks the list goes on etc. You break your leg two ridges over. Your not going to make it back to your pack. Leg cramps are no joke either.

Right around 11:59 there appeared to be another one that was not the other side of the chaulker you found. Its in the lower right maybe its just branches, but looked suspicious
Rogue Outdoorsmen Trent I struggled waste deep crossing snow to get to a south facing slope! No browns but I did find a nice heavy four by muley deadhead. Seen your truck! How did you do? Or I catch up with your next video. I can’t wait to watch it! I hope you pull your weight in sheds out.
